This trundle bed frame was the only one I could find that was the correct size to fit under our kids' bunk beds.     • Easy assembly, very sturdy
This takes about 20-30 min to assemble. The frame is very sturdy and seems well-built. We are only using it for a child, but I have laid on it and I didn't feel any give in the frame. The directions are good for the most part. I found in putting the slats in I needed to move from the edges to the middle instead of middle to edges as stated in the directions. Also, for putting in the plastic pieces that hold the rails in, you want to use a pair of needle nose or locking pliers. This will make the job much, much easier. Wrap the pliers in duct tape to protect the frame from scratches, and then apply the pliers to pop in one side, then the other of the plastic stays. The only feature I wish this had were wheel locks because these wheels are very, very easy to move and the bed will easily slide around with any movement. ... show more

Esta base baja de cama si me agrado. Es más firme que las otras dos anteriores de otras marcas que venden aquí en Amazon, que he ya he comprado y se han roto. El precio es mucho mayor que las otras (más del doble) pero esta mejor la calidad y el ensamble de las llantas que al fin son las que soportan el peso. Esta posición de llantas de esta base aunque corren rectas solamente, soporta el peso mucho mejor que las otras que tienen llantas que se direccionan para todos lados resultando que por su tipo de ensamble y posición se ladean, se sumen y quiebran. Ensamble sencillo y rápido. Los tubos que soportan el colchón están más juntos y funcionan mejor que otros que tiene mucho espacio entre ellos. Aunque no tiene agarre para el colchón y este se deslice no hay problema ya que el diseño es para que quepa abajo de las medidas de las camas. Yo considero que me funcionó muy bien. ... show more

    • Good quality for the price
Trundle appears to be sturdy. We bought it for when our grandkids come to visit. The mattress slides off quite easily. Added some handles to each side and that make it much easier to roll out from under the bed while also helping to keep mattress in place.

This was easy to assemble, sturdy, pretty easy to move around, and one of the only trundle beds that would have fit under the existing bed that we had. Good product for the price.

    • Great trundle platform - quick, easy assembly and works perfectly
We needed extra space in our daughter's room for sleepover friends after we switched out her bunk bed. We started with just sliding a mattress under the bed, but it was a pain on the carpeting and was just unwieldy and required one of us to get everything set up for her. This trundle platform came in a smaller box than I anticipated which was great, and I had it built and into action within a half hour. Pros: - rolls easily over carpet - middle wheel keeps side beams from sagging (or bending!) - has more slats than most, so works well with the thinner foam mattress we needed without much under-bed clearance - assembled quickly and easily, and included all hardware and allen wrenches needed Cons: - plastic connectors across the slats seem okay now, but wonder how they'll hold up long-term - wish it had an extra sturdy middle cross-bar where the middle wheels are for extra support where it's most likely to fail, dead center Granted, we haven't encountered either of the "cons" yet and hope neither will occur. Tweens and adults have slept on it and said it's very comfortable. Very happy with this purchase! ... show more

    • Just what we needed for our kids' room
We wanted a trundle bed for our child's bedroom so that if we have company or they have a friend sleep over, they wouldn't need to sleep on the floor. It took about an hour for my husband to put together (including distractions from kids and dog). It fit perfectly under our child's bed with the mattress on it.     • Not quite as durable as I had hoped for the price
I just finished putting this trundle bed frame together. While assembly was fairly easy, (I did it by myself in about 45 minutes), I was disappointed with the quality of the material. The support slats are a very light metal that can bend easily. The support slats are held in place, not by screws, but by plastic tabs. If this were going to be used for a guest bed, it would suffice. However, I plan on using it for kids, and I doubt it will hold up to typical active child play over an extended period of time. I was also hoping that the frame would have some sort of indention to hold the mattress in place. It doesn't. On the bright side, the six wheels do slide pretty easily across a relatively thick carpet. ... show more
