this could be great sand depending on what your using it for. I wanted to use it for a small indoor sand tray for my 4 year old. The sand is so fine it sticks to everything- including your finger and the inside of the bag it comes in. It also smells very strongly when you open the bag like sour chemicals. This makes me hesitant to use this with my child as it sticks to his dry fingers with dusty sand. I wish I had not bought this for my purpose and I would like to return (it cost $15 with shipping and tax) but for me to return it I need to pay shipping again so essentially I've wasted 15 bucks. It is sand. That's it. Just some nice fine green sand. Used it to make a zen sand garden, and it works great.

And felt very nice on the hand and cleaned easily. Unfortunately I had purchased the sand as enclosure and for my beetles and I found that the sand was too fine for them to live in. My bad yall. Color was vibrant.

This product is as described. It came in an Oriental Trading box and looking and their site it is 50% cheaper there. I ordered one of these from Amazon and the other from OT. My daughter likes that we added this purple sand to her white sand in her sandbox.
