NOT FOR A WOOD CUTTING CIRC. SAW

These are "low" rpm blades. Using them in a standard circular saw "skill saw" they will not last or preform well. I uses these in my 7 1/4 Evolution metal cutting circular saw and they preform and last GREAT cutting all forms of mild steel for general fabrication off 3/16 plate to 1/2 flat bar. since i have owned the saw i have used 3 blades, and i'm confident that the amount of 4 1/2 inch cut off wheels would easily exceed the cost of the 3 blades to do what i have done so far. not to mention how fast,clean,dust, and spark free the cutting is it has saved tons of time cutting, cleaning up after a project is complete. I've not tried other brands of replacement blades as I'm satisfied with these. ... show more

Versatile and durable - a better way to chop steel than abrasive blades

Blade lasted for 2+ years in a mitre saw cutting everything I threw at it - steel, stainless, aluminum, plastics, nail embedded wood. Lazily used the one blade for everything. I cut 1/4" plated steel with it flawlessly. First cut, super sharp. Second, not as sharp of course but just fine. I realize this blade is not for life. I think maybe a few more cuts before it's over. Blade did what it was suppose to. Clean and burr free cut. It chips, not rips. Amazing for a skillsaw without a torch. Very good product. Nice Quality Blade

I bought this saw blade as a spare in case I have problem with the original blade i purchased. it is a decent blade. Very sharp, I had no problems cutting through some thick aluminum. I think the quality is great and look forward to finish the project I started.

Shouldn't be sold in the USA as it has a non US standard bore size.

Nowhere in the description or specs does this say it has an odd ball 20mm bore size. Zooming in on the picture of the blade shows that it has a bore size of 20mm. This needs to be prominently posted somewhere in the description or specs. I searched for a circular saw that has a 20mm arbor and couldn't find one sold in the USA. Adapters are available, but I opened the blade up today for a project and couldn't use it. Total waste of money. ... show more

Amazing!

Cut 3/16” plate steel quickly, cleanly and with no smoke or slag. Cut thin walled tubing like butter. It makes a lot of very sharp little chips you have to watch out for. You should have a hood of some kind as well as a face mask and goggles. Feed rate is very important too. Don’t over feed in the cut. Slow and steady feed will still cut faster than most any other method. And did I mention cleaner, too.? Also. Be aware that dirt, concrete, scale, etc. needs to be cleaned off the material you’re cutting or it will significantly shorten the life of the blade. ... show more
