There are lots of codes built in and you can actually program up to 99 custom food products. If you don’t feel like entering a code, you can just weigh items without entering codes. This is perfect! It even has an app that will help you with figuring out the food code! So easy to use and tracks everything we’re looking for! It is small so it’s easy to store, and doesn’t take up much space. It’s fast in the calculations! It does have a timer so it turns off on its own!

I use this every day for every meal and it is very useful for accurate serving sizes and with the codes it’s even more useful, because often you have to take a guess at what raw foods such as chicken or vegetables are worth in calorific value, but with this scale you know the exact amount, plus the nutritional values. I have type 2 diabetes and this makes my life so much easier when trying to figure out how many carbs I’ve eaten for the day which is a very important number to know when you’re trying to keep your blood sugar low. My only complaint about this scale is that it’s slightly too sensitive so if anything as light as a paper towel happens to touch it, I often have to reset and start the weighing process again. It’s best to keep everything you don’t want weighed well away from the scale if you have room. I have a tiny kitchenette, so it’s not that easy. ... show more

    • The scales weigh incorrectly after zeroing the tare weight.

After the tare weight is reset, subsequent weighing of ingredients in this tare is performed incorrectly, especially when adding them gradually. Also, the weight of ingredients can change arbitrarily when pressing the scale touch buttons.
