I bought this to replace my garage boom box from the 90s that recently died. I was looking for a compact unit and bought this. It depends on the CD quality. Initially I was not impressed playing an old Runaways Live CD, but then played a Cowboy Junkies and then Sade CD, and both were fantastic with crisp clear sound. It has an 'EQ' function also that can be changed to improve sound. It is compact and the remote is nice. Longevity is unknown but I'm happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Short press for power and long press for power off. Short press again for AUX. Make sure to double check the model you're purchasing, some of these reviews are for different models. This is a simple, compact, portable cd player. The sound is clear and filled my small living room. I used the USB A to USB C Cable that was included which I plugged into a power strip that has a built-in USB port. My cd played well, with no skipping. To my untrained ears the 5 EQ modes: classical, rock, pop, jazz and flat, have definite discernible differences, but I'm certainly not savvy enough to speak more on that. There is an approximately 18" aux cable included. I plugged into my laptop and watched/listened to a 20 minute reel of the band TOOL from the Back to the Beginning Ozzy event. It was great sound for a tiny player. Not sure how much base I should've been hearing 😆but honestly it was fine. Played a CD-R I had laying around successfully. I'm assuming I'd have the save success with a CD-W. I threw some C batteries in and the player worked great as well. All in all, as stated above, this is a simple, compact, portable cd player. Don't expect any bells and whistles and you'll get your money's worth! I can't speak on longevity or durability, as all I've done is what's stated above. I will update if necessary.

Nice CD player. Only complaint is that the cord is entirely too short. Won’t reach from the outlet to a desk or dresser, so I have to use it on the floor. Sound quality is good so far.

To be fair I can't rate this thing because I did not use it, I started a return immediately after opening the box. The USB cable is missing for one, so can't even set it up for use. The very small lightweight unit feels cheap and plastic-y and I have concerns about its durability. It might work for some, but I am disappointed and definitely will find a better quality item even if it costs a few dollars more! You get what you pay for usually but in this case, not even close! UPDATE: It was unfair to judge the product without even trying it, so I decided to do just that. Missing part was the AUX cable (not USB, my hasty mistake!), but after communicating with Seller, all concerns were addressed and I changed my rating to reflect that. I still feel that the unit is too pricey, and could have included the first set of batteries, but if you just want something to play your old CDs on, it will do in a pinch. Sound quality is just ok, no bass to speak of. All that said, this Seller provided excellent customer service, so rest assured if you have any issues, they will work hard to fix them!
