    • Tiny yet works well for nature sounds. Blue light much too bright.
I use it only for nature sound listening and recording, not music. Works very well for reducing ambient urban noise. Tiny size is very convenient. The blue lighting behind the panel is inordinately bright yet serves no purpose. I would prefer the light be able to be turned off.

There are several brands of these all very similar (this particular unit wiring hookup is different). Purchased this one to replace another brand that failed after a few years. I cut the wiring(actual the resistor) inside to disable the lighting. On previous unit I wired bigger resistors and also added a wire from the circuit to my cars dimmable lights as the blue LEDS are way to bright stock. Wish they would have an illumination circuit from factory as this would be a great unit then. I also add a drop of black paint to the indentation on each knob so you can tell easily where it is set to. This particular unit isn't as sensitive I've found nor quite as good sound overall than the last brand I used, still a decent unit though. ... show more

Very similar to the Clarion unit I also purchased. It may even come out of the same Chinese factory. If you could see them side by side you would see what I mean. Good unit.Although I did have to pull the knobs off and reinstall them to be lined with the center indent. Not a problem but the Clarion I bought was right out of the box. ... show more

I bough one and at connecting it burned, I requested a replacement and the second one burned too. Now im working with equalizer from AUDIOBANK and so far have no issues.. Once again THE QUALITY IS POOR AND WILL GET BURNED DONT BUY IT. Seems the resistors are too weak for a strong system. It seems this couldnt handle the 4V my stereo RCA sent over to the inputs and also the frequency switch is really sensitive as well wich will get your get burned. ... show more

haven't determined if this is causing my issues but narrowing it down to be my possible cause. I will say it's great for price and is made identical to the Skar 7 band equalizer
