UPDATE: After owning this for about 9 months, the movement will sporadically stop. I thought it would be a simple battery replacement, but it wasn’t. I had to have my local watch repair shop fix it. After that, it’s run perfectly. Just be aware of potential issues. Anyway, here’s my original review... I’ve been eyeing this watch for months, and it finally dropped in price. But I never thought it’d drop over 30%!!! That’s when I knew that I had to strike. This watch looks a lot more valuable than the cost. There are few reliable, affordable Moon phase watches. This is one that’s the most bang for your buck. Setting the watch is not difficult to figure out (watch the Long Island Watch video) but it is definitely a pain ...there are NO short cuts (sigh), but once it’s set, it’s set. Although the black leather strap is just fine, I put it on a mesh band (only $10 on Amazon). What a look!! ... show more

    • My new favorite watch
I have about a dozen watches and bought 3 recently, and this one has become my favorite. It's thin, light, comfortable, and I absolutely love the moon phase complication. Unlike 99% of the "moon phase" watches for sale on Amazon, this one isn't fraudulent and actually displays the moon phase. It also displays: hour, minute, second, the day, date, and week of the year. It's beautiful, practical, a little bit geeky. I didn't find it hard to set, the directions are step-by-step. You just have to realize some settings can't be changed when they are at the time of day/week when they are being changed by the watch mechanics.     • A nice quality watch but the strap is too long
The only issue with this watch is that it comes with good quality strap that I think most people will replace it right away because it’s too long for most people

Smaller than I expected and a bit complicated to to set up but a very beautiful timepiece. One of my favorites so far. Love Zeppelin and their watches!

    • Look at the instructions, for what watch you bought.
The instructions come for the two moon phases. Make sure you look at the picture to see which one. Took awhile to set, they have you set the time, then change the day. Also watch the week indictor when you set the day, it might advance. Very happy with the watch,, keeping perfect time. Feels and fits good on the wrist. ... show more

Nice looking watch...Great feel to it,light weight,and most importantly it is keeping excellent time. Glad I bought this watch, I mainly have Citizen watches but decided to go with this watch because of the look,and a moon phase Citizen is almost three times the money.Time will tell if I made the right decision.. ... show more

    • Scratches if you look at it
I had high hopes for this watch. It is very good looking a bit on the small side with a hard band but when dressed up stands out. Unfortunately I scratched the face on only my third time wearing this watch. For the cost I was hoping for something much more durable. I wear other watches when working but this somehow scratched on a formal outing and was mostly covered up. There are simply better watches out there, save the heartache and buy a different brand. ... show more

    • Nice watch, with weird design flaw
I bought this watch solely for it's aesthetics, not for any horological attributes and I do like it for that reason, especially for the price. However, upon receiving it I noticed a weird design "flaw": the top three main numbers (11, 12, and 1) are at least 10% smaller than the other nine. I can only attribute this to the Zeppelin symbol crowding into them. If that were the case, why not simply make the other 9 numbers the same smaller size OR move the Zeppelin a little lower and make those three numbers the same size as the rest? ... show more
