I recently began P/T for a torn meniscus in my knee. The physical therapist uses a strap like this for stretching and told me that I could purchase one on Amazon to use at home when I do my home exercises. This is a great product, and I think ANY person who stretches should have it, and everyone should stretch. BTW, when I ordered it, I read the reviews and amazingly, some people gave it ONE STAR because "it isn't stretchy at all." !!!!!!!! Do people NOT read, or do they LACK reading comprehension? IT ISN"T ELASTIC!. It is not MEANT to be stretchy--it is used to stretch your muscles!

This exact item was recommended to me by my Physical Therapist so I bought it. It’s sturdy, easy to use, long and has a carrying bag. The stretch diagram that came with it is very helpful. I have two; I keep one in my gym bag and one in my night stand. Using it upon waking while still in the bed has really helped to relieve my achy arthritic hip and lower back and has improved my overall flexibility. Great value for a very useful item.

I am new to using straps to stretch. A friend post knee replacement uses gradient strap. I tried the 1" but find the 1,5 " width preferable fir me. The staff at gradient fitness were very helpful in advising me. I recommend the customer service and the product. The strap is smoith and pleasant to touch. The loops are so helpful.
