Safely ride rear-facing longer! The Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat grows with your child from rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to forward-facing harness (22-65 lb). It features a 4-position extension panel that provides up to 5” of extra rear-facing legroom, allowing your child to safely ride rear- facing longer. Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear- facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. With Extend2Fit, the adjustable extension panel and 50 lb rear-facing weight limit allow the seat to grow with your child in rear-facing mode, providing extended rear-facing use. The seat features the No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, and InRight LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment. Harnessing is made easier with fuss- free harness storage pockets that conveniently hold the harness out of the way while you get baby in and out of the car seat. This car seat is Graco ProtectPlus Engineered to help protect in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes.

This is the perfect convertible car seat for when you are ready to switch from an infant carrier. I have had multiple of these for multiple children and the quality just can’t be beat! It’s sturdy, easy to use and very easy to adjust as your child grows. My only qualm is that this seat is not slim, and if you want to fit 3 car seats across this may not be the seat for you as it is a pretty tight fit. ... show more

This seat is great once your baby out grows their infant seat. It really accommodates to the size of your toddler. It’s comfortable and safe for your growing child! The seat is easy to clip in and out of most cars.

I love how easy and versatile this car seat is to use. Both of my grandchildren’s parents each had one and I had use of one until it was needed by another parent. After trying to use another brand that was difficult to use the tethers, I purchased this model and I love it!

    • Comfortable chair, not good to use with a seatbelt
If you have anchor in your backseat it will works perfectly but if you don't have anchors the safety will be compromise. In my car the seat works good but in my girlfriends car fells unsafe because the seatbelt moves with the chair.

    • Good product but could be easier to convert from rear-facing to front-facing
I first installed the seat facing rear. The process was straightforward, probably because looking back, the seat was pre-configured for rear-facing installation. Swithcing to fotward-facing turned out to be more cumbersome than I'd expected, mainly because: (1) the clotch buckle had to be moved, and the instructions weren't clear on how (2) Moving the latch from front to rear was pretty hard because it was mingled with the safety belts and the access was limited since the seat cover could not be fully removed. Maybe those were less of an issue for people who aren't as clumby as I am, but for me, those steps could have been simpler and more intuitive. I still like the product and intend to keep using it until it expires. ... show more

We have purchased two of these now (for both kids) and love the seat. Has to be comfy with our toddler handling a 17 hour car ride in it multiple times over the course of a couple years. Easy to clean & install. The ONLY issue I have with this model is how hard it is to tighten the chest straps once the child is forward facing (there is a trick to use when they are rear facing- by pulling the slack from the back of the seat and then pulling the strap tight at their bottom). But! It’s worth it knowing this seat is so highly rated for safety. ... show more
