The Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Car Seat offers 3 modes of use to grow with your child from rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to forward-facing harness (26.5-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb). It features a 4-position extension panel that provides up to 5” of extra rear- facing legroom, allowing your child to safely ride rear-facing longer. Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. With Extend2Fit, the adjustable extension panel and 50 lb rear-facing weight limit allow the seat to grow with your child in rear-facing mode, providing extended rear-facing use. The seat features the No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, and InRight LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment. Harnessing is made easier with fuss-free harness storage pockets that conveniently hold the harness out of the way while you get baby in and out of the car seat. ONLY DOWNSIDE about this is the color, was expecting more of a beige and this is straight up grey which I’m not a fan but not a huge deal. I heard parents saying that as soon as they switched to a big kid seat, their babies stopped having tantrum on car rides and I have tried everything else and it didn’t work so I thought I would try. I researched so much before choosing this seat. I even ordered the chicco clear Tex and cancelled the order because it didn’t feel right in my gut. This seat had very good reviews and was rated best for safety as well as had a very good price considering what else is out there. Having had the doona before, this feels much more comfortable. The straps are very easy to loosen and tighten. It is very easy to recline if needed. The leg extension is a plus, it gives my son so much more leg room and he loves it. It is overall very good quality for the price. All this to say that I am now able to go anywhere with him with ease and peace of mind. It didnt take any time for him to get adjusted to it, the first time we went for a ride he was cool as a cucumber. He even falls asleep in it which is amazing for him since he never used to do that in the doona once he got a bit older. It is very lightweight and as you can see it fits pretty good in my 2015 Camry with me being able to comfortably sit in the front (I am 5’6”). I don’t mean that it has a ton of leg room, but I’m not cramped either and it is reclined as recommended for babies before 6 months I believe! It is also very easy to install correctly. ... show more

So far we are pleased with this purchase. I like how there is a one-panel strap adjustment, the padding is soft, and our baby does not cry while sitting in this car seat. Purchased this for my grandson. He just turned 1 and needed to transition into a front facing bigger seat. He loves it and so does my daughter and her husband. She said it is very light where she can carry it in one hand and him in another when needed. It fits behind the passenger seat and still allows for 2 other people to sit comfortable next to him. The padding allows him to relax and he is not able to unsnap any of them. She loves that material and has already experienced how easy it is to throw in the washer to be cleaned after spills.     • Great car seat with some caveats
This car seat is relatively easy to install and is highly rated for safety. We have two of them and both of our kids find it pretty comfortable. It’s fairly easy to adjust the straps. It’s not a compact car seat though - you won’t be able to fit 3 in a row like you can with some of the narrow seats. So far they’ve lasted well. Our oldest is almost 4 and she’s been in this seat since around 12 months. The downsides - like many car seats, it’s an absolute pain in the butt to clean. If your kid gets car sick or has blowouts/accidents, this may not be the seat for you. To wash all the covers, you not only have to take it out, you pretty much need to disassemble the entire seat. There are also lots of places for crumbs to go, and removing the cups isn’t easy. If you’re fine with those things, it’s a great car seat for the price. ... show more

I’ve been using the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat since Christmas 2025 for my daughter, who is now almost 2 years old. As someone who has experience with multiple car seats, I look for a combination of safety features, installation stability, and long-term usability, and this model has consistently performed well across those areas. Installation in my medium-sized SUV was straightforward and intuitive. The instructions were clear, and I was able to achieve a secure fit without needing multiple adjustments.
