All in one unit, which is AMAZING! No base to move around, or struggling to place a seat in it. Extremely sturdy unit, a bit heavy but not overly heavy. I have a Honda Civic Si which is relatively small, needless to say the seat fits perfectly, allowing room for others to sit in the back seat. The install, I recommend watching a YouTube, it's much easier than the written instructions which I didn't seem to fully grasp. Once you install it once it is really easy to remove and reinstall. I'm used to the old car seats that don't revolve, it took me a little bit to get used to the lever on the side of the car seat utilized for releasing the revolving mechanism. Yet once you I did it's a game changer. It's extremely easy to have the seat turn, you can hear the snap when it's secured in place. As the seat is facing you, to secure of my 11-month year old granddaughter is so easy, and it only takes me about 30 seconds to do so. The seat does tilt back in a cradle type position as well, which is our preferred position, but the seat is versatile and you may choose positions your baby is comfortable in. The head support cushions are there and assist when child sleeps. Behind the head rest you can also expend the seat to compensate for growth. Wish I would have seen this car seat earlier, would have saved me a lot of struggling. I haven't washed the cushioning but seems relatively easy to remove. The strap adjustments are in the front you press down to release the straps and pull to tighten them. Great car seat, without a need to purchase a new one due to growth. ... show more

I’ve had two of these (black one in my car and gray one in my MIL’s car who watches my kid) for about six weeks, and overall I’m pleased with it! My kid was about 10 months when we got them. I really wanted the Chicco rotating car seat, but it is over $100 more than this one, and after I could finally track down a measurement for how deep it was from top of the seat to the base, I realized it wouldn’t fit into my 2020 Jeep Compass. I read a bunch of reviews from CPSTs and parents on rotating car seats, and I didn’t want the Evenflo or Joie options. Graco’s other seat had issues, too. This one seemed like it didn’t have the issues those seats did, but since it’s newer to the market I didn’t have much info on it. But I took a chance and I’m glad I did! Overall it hits the marks for a rotating car seat with cool features. Getting a secure install was easy, though I’ll admit the manual is a little hard to read (and I’m good at manuals!). Graco has videos on YouTube that are super helpful. The fabric feels like good quality, it’s easy to rotate, and my kid gets in and out of it easily. A few specifics: - Some people have noted that it doesn’t make a full stop when rotating to the side, and that’s true, but it is a partial stop and I’ve never had an issue with it moving while putting my kid in. - Some people have noted that when the straps are generally shorter, for a younger child, they don’t reach the little holder straps on the side. This is true, but since my kid doesn’t take up as much of the seat width as a bigger kid, I have plenty of room to pull the straps around them without the straps getting buried. They’ll be helpful for a bigger kid. - The only issue I actually have with the seat design is that the loosening latch for the straps is hidden (and not explained well in the manual!) and in the same spot as the extra strapping. So you have to get a feel for putting pressure on the button while not pressing down the strap so it’ll still move while loosening and tightening. That was a very silly design choice. But you do get a feel for it over time. All in all, I feel like this is the best rotating convertible car seat for the price! It just barely fits in my car behind the driver seat (2020 Jeep Compass, I’m 5’8”, and my 6’0” spouse can put the seat back one more notch for his comfort), but I knew that would be the case and it’s fine. Definitely worth the investment for ease of getting my kid in and out of the seat for years to come! My MIL is happy with it too. ... show more

This Graco easy turn car seat is the real deal! It has so many features and is so easy to use. This is my first time using a toddler car seat and it was easy to install. Once I got my baby in the car seat she was so happy and comfortable! I love that it is made for small babies up to young kids. It will grow with my child and is well with the money. To rotate her, it is so simple and smooth. To adjust the height it is much easier than her infant car seats were. Rather than adjusting the height by removing the straps, it is just the simple click of a button and the entire seat adjusts. Once it is on the seat it is weighted down and attached well. I have my baby in the middle seat for safety and this is very secure in the middle seat. I’m so glad that I got it and know that my baby will be so comfortable on long rides! We have been using the Graco Easy Turn 360 2-in-1 rotating car seat for a few months now, switching from a non-rotating Graco infant seat as our child grew into a toddler stage. Overall, I have no complaints so far. It is very easy to use, especially when buckling my child in and out, and the 360 rotation makes a big difference for convenience. My husband was able to install it in about an hour, which was straightforward. There is plenty of legroom in the rear-facing position, and now that my child is a toddler, we also have the option to switch to forward-facing when appropriate. The padding feels comfortable, and my daughter seems to enjoy sitting in it. The two cup holders are also very useful. They fit sippy cups well, and even adult tumblers can fit depending on size. Sometimes we also use them to hold small toys. One thing to keep in mind is that with a rotating seat, it is important to always make sure it is locked in the correct position before driving. It can be easy to forget to rotate it back properly, so being mindful of that is very important for safety. It also comes with a registration card for recalls. The card can be mailed back (postage prepaid), or you can register it online, which is very convenient. I recommend registering so you can be notified if any safety updates happen. My child loves this car seat and it has made car rides much more enjoyable. I love the turning function, it makes getting baby in and out of the car easy - it has saved my back! We will definitely get good use of this seat. It feels sturdy and was easy enough to install if you watch Graco’s videos. It IS big though - we have a 2021 RAV4 and have to put this behind the passenger seat because we needed leg room in the driver seat. I’m not sure if this would work for us if we had to have 2 car seats in our back seat. If you have more than one child or are very tall (need to have your front seats far back) then you may want to look for a slimmer or smaller car seat. However, if you have a bigger SUV/van or only one child, this is definitely the seat for you. ... show more

I love this car seat. So easy to use. I'm a grandma, and the turning feature is so helpful to save my back and shoulders. Reviews are critical of rattling noise when empty. It does rattle a little sometimes, but my back seats in van also rattle a little sometimes. Honestly, not really bothersome for me. Taking off one star because baby's head does slump forward when asleep (15 months old), and I have seat installed correctly and reclined as much as it can be. Most of our trips are short, and this hasn't been an much of a problem, but if driving far, I'd choose the Snugride infant seat over this one for that reason. I drive a Toyota Sienna, and this seat installed easily and fits well. Front seat passenger still has plenty of leg room. ... show more

Updated Review: I was just in an accident that completely totaled my vehicle. I am so grateful that this car seat saved my baby’s life. Although we have to replace it per the manufacturer’s recommendation I am happy to purchase another one of these to continue to protect my daughter. Thank you Graco, I’m seriously so glad she’s okay. Original Review: I drive a 2019 Hyundai Veloster, and holy CRAP my back seat is TINY! My daughter has nearly outgrown her infant car seat and I have been putting off splurging to order a super fancy car seat. I picked this model because I was looking for a car seat that featured 360 motion, along with a lower clearance for my compact car. My car also only has three doors, so it HAS to go in the seat behind the passenger side. It was a toss up between this model and the Jolie Chili Spin. But after comparing the two, I discovered the other one was NINE INCHES TALLER!!!! This car seat was very simple to install (still rear facing for now) and I love the snug lock feature. It’s not too heavy and the circular base was very intriguing to me as I haven’t seen that on a car seat before. This is built for growth and will last up until my daughter is 65lbs, which is a very far away milestone. The ease of rotation sold me on this car seat. No more bonking her head trying to place her gently in her seat. Now in and out is a breeze and she is so much more comfortable with the support this car seat offers. I’m still on the lookout for a full travel system for baby #2, but Graco has really impressed me with this. AND it’s safe for infants too! Hmmm… lots to keep in mind. ... show more
