This review is really the one you are wanting to hear. I am a Dad with a 14yr old and a 5 yr old girls. My sister had given me a large blanket from that well advertised brand, Minky. It's very nice and as can be expected they we occasionally fighting over it on my weekends with them. I decided to buy another. So I check Amazon and find this blanket. Its rated well and Amazon's choices etc. I liked the look of the pattern they use and thought i would give it a try. Also enjoy the coupons when available. So I ordered it and shows up at my restaurant, that's where i have things shipped to sometimes. I open it and feel it quickly and it feels nice. The girls ride around in the truck while using it and clearly they are liking it. When we get home i have them do a blind snuggle test with each blanket. The results were: There were slight differences between the two but both were very nice. In other words, I believe almost anyone would be happy with either blanket. However, in my opinion there was a slightly softer feel to the Graced blanket that we seemed to prefer. The MC had a slightly different thickness or density feel to it. The weight of the 2 large blankets were similar with a slight edge to the MC for weight, but as I stated both blankets felt heavy. The bottom line is that the Graced is a less expensive option especially with the automatic coupon. The snuggle factor winner was a near tie and for me a slight edge to the Graced. The winner in the name category is clearly the other brand because Graced doesnt really do much for any of us. Not sure if mc has the pattern like the graced, ours mc is plain dark brown. I prefer the look of the pattern. We have that beige Graced in oversized. So, we will need a 3rd blanket for our weekend video parties and likely we will be purchasing another Graced. Only thing Is whether or not they will offer any additional colors. If not we will get a gray oversized for now and maybe pickup a color a young girl might prefer later if the start to offer those. Great product would recommend.
I have about 10 or more faux fur blankets lol because I have a problem. I've spent anywhere from $30 all the way up to $200 on them. THIS one is the softest!!! Absolutely beautiful and very well made. Get it..that's all!
Because both sides are faux fur, you would want to wrap yourself in it instead of just having it on top of you. It also looks more expensive than the usual single-shaded faux fur blankets because it has a mixture of white, ivory, and beige.
Very soft and comfortable! It has a good amount of weight to it and feels like a very comfortable nice heavy good quality blanket. It took about 2 seconds for my cat to lay down on it so, it’s cat approved! Does not shed and the “fur” is on both sides of the blanket
Ok, so this blanket is amazing! It's actually a nice weight for the size, hence my 3/5 stars on that section. Meaning, it's NOT lightweight, but it's not a thick, dense, chunky blanket. The color is amazing. True ivory. I always get nervous when a color is ivory, because they can skew too yellow for my taste, but this is really a nice creamy white color. Super soft and I LOVE that the entire blanket is fur and not just one side of it. I am actually ordering a second blanket because I love it so much! Solid ivory, 50x60"
We can officially throw out all of our other blankets. These blankets are amazing and our family of four is fighting over who gets to use them. They are great for relaxing on the couch and I actually placed it on top of my comforter and had one of the best nights of sleep ever! It has a slightly weighted feel so you feel extra safe and cozy. Also gorgeous! Can’t say enough good things about these blankets. Get one (or more). You will be happy you did!
I love my adult sized blanket. This is the softest and warmest one I own (and I hoard a lot of blankets). It is big enough to cover my tall husband who has icicles for feet. It looks beautiful on the bed. I am curled up in it as we speak! I would recommend this blanket 100% to anyone even considering Graced Soft Luxuries. You will not regret it. Thank you fellow Amazonians for the useful reviews. I was tired of buying expensive faux fur blankets and end up donating because they never stop shedding. I washed on a gentle cycle and air dried in my dryer with wool dryer balls. There was minimal lint in the lint catcher and it’s so soft and luxurious feeling. I will definitely purchase more as gifts. The blanket comes with a beautiful ribbon binding it, but it does have a touch of chemical/plastic smell right out of the bag. I purchased the marbled ivory.
