After opening the box it can be a bit overwhelming, there’s a lot of small pieces and I got a bit overwhelmed — but, if you go on YouTube and search “Govee neon lights” there’s a 30 second video that really simplified the process for me! I am autistic and struggle with written instructions, so it was a great visual. I got the largest size and it wraps around my desk perfectly. These lights are incredibly bright and have tons of different color combinations / themes. You can also customize them individually and pick the colors you’d like to see. My favorite feature is definitely the music sync, it can seem a little too sensitive at first but there is a sound sensitivity slider in the app! I have the music box right behind my Echo, and it responds well. For the entire part of squiggles I didn’t use any of the bending connectors. I used the shortest ones and just made sure to have them shaped in a way where curving would be natural for them. I didn’t have a shape planned and just went for it. The heart bit at the end was a bit more complicated but I ended up using the straight clips for that part as well. Also, the screws would likely come in handy but I am in an apartment! The curved ones just kept falling off the wall and I believe it was because of the tension. These lights are definitely something you’ll have to play with for a bit to get them exactly how you want them, but it is 100% worth it! They’re very durable and insanely nice in terms of quality. The best LED’s you could find IMO (in my opinion). They connect to the Govee Home app as well as my Echo Show. 100% would recommend, just have some patience and trust the process! These are super bright, so I’d recommend blackout curtains in front of your window to avoid giving everyone outside a light show as well, haha. Amazing lights! ... show more

I LOVE these Neon Ropes by Govee! They are so Amazing! The quality can’t be beat! There are so many lighting options, the brightness is Fantastic, and the customization is only limited by your imagination! These can be put in any design that you want them with the included clips (but you may need to purchase more clips for some designs to ensure that they stay adhered properly & in good design!) the installation is very straightforward & pretty easy! These lights are so amazing! Connectivity is great - Using 2.4GHz wifi &/or bluetooth & the Govee home app you can use the many preloaded scenes or customize your own creations there as well! You can’t go wrong with Govee devices- They will last forever, have the best customer service & have an amazing app! I LOVE GOVEE DEVICES so much! This rope light is genuinely stunning. I use them primarily in a game room/office and they add such a nice aesthetic. The colors are true. My favorite part about the light is how I'm able to change each segment of the rope to a different color. It really came in handy for me since I used it to match a certain color scheme for my gaming PC. Now let's talk about the Govee software. Their software is the reason I will only ever buy Govee light products for the rest of my life. It's truly seamless when trying to set up a new device. Even for people who may not be as tech savvy. The customization options are unreal. You're able to set colors, scenes, timers and more. Bottom line is if you're on the fence about getting this rope light, do it. This light is a lot of fun and easy to play with! I think it will be great for hosting parties and turning it into shapes that fit the theme of the party. The light is bright and the colors are vibrant. The colors don’t bleed together if you segment them. I have not stuck it on my wall yet so I do not know how well it adheres to the wall. It holds shapes well though and is easy to bend. Pairs easily with my phone and the app is straightforward and easy to use. The media could not be loaded. I got this for my apartment and absolutely love it! The 16ft one is the perfect length for what I envisioned, vibrant color, and super bendy! Easy to put up by yourself and connect to the app. I used tape to place the lights and get the shape before actually putting the adhesive holder things on. Absolutely worth the cost! The app has so many different options for light modes, brightness, timer, and so much more! If you're like me and mess around with all the options but want to go back to the original, the default when you set it up is called 'rainbow' it's under the scenes lighting mode (and my personal favorite) ... show more
