Put this on a zinc roof (does not stick to metal) had to use extra tape to get it to glue on. So far has held up to 100f plus temperature. Very bright or can be lowered to very moody. I usually only use these guys now for all my mood lighting needs. Excellent company. They're popping up in homedepo and best buy now. Buy them before they become to commercial!

Don't get me wrong the lights themselves are great I love the colors all the amazing modes and the options how bright they are overall a petty great product but the glue on the led lights are absolutely terrible not great for textured walls at all maybe if your doing a completely flat surface it would be fine but any texture at all is no good I had to buy more wall mounts online just to put them up so it tool about 3 or so days extra but other than the glue a great product

These ship very quickly. The quality and adhesion seem to be appropriate. The backing glue is forgiving. Making shapes is easy if you’re following the directions. These can be very bright lights when adjusted through the app or they can be very dim. Just a ton of adjustments through the iPhone app. Keep in mind With this set in particular when they say you get two strips, they are a Y strip. So basically you can go 32 feet in one direction and 32 feet and another. The 32 foot sections meet where you plug the lights in?. I look at these lights and amazement because each Individual light appears to have 25 or 30 microscopic LEDs that emit different colors of light brightness and dimness. There is almost a never-ending variable of adjustment to these strips like controlling a led screen. Once I bought one box and saw the power that they had, I think I bought five more. I’ll either use them or have spares.. No, paint is tearing away if I made adjustments. Only took about 15 minutes to install. The household has not rejected them. We even paired the wall lights with the same companies floor light pole. My little one sleeps with him through the night on a very dim setting.

This is my fourth set of Govee lights. I own one 16 ft strand, and the tv backlight with the camera. I also had a set of lights around the ceiling and baseboard of my room, and those stopped working after a couple months of use. They were a gift, so I was not able to return, but I did replace them with these. I got them less than two weeks ago, and immediately hung them, only for half the strand to completely stop lighting up after TWO days! Amazon is accepting a return for refund, but beware of Govee lights, apparently there is a HUGE quality issue and I will not be wasting any more of my money! Off to find a better solution for my nerd cave.

Pair with presence sensor h5127. Sensor is located seperate of the lights to pick up motion in the night and turns on the lights under the bed. Works pretty consistently and tried other sensors from govee with these strip lights. These strip lights allow you to see up a node so the items can work together.
