These were recommended by my pup’s trainer and I’m so glad she did. My little man destroys everything he touches and these are the one exception; not even kong’s survive his little playful wrath. I grabbed two toys with the anticipation that they would be destroyed- and then replaced by goughnuts (which is unheard of and exceptional). To my surprise they are surviving with minimal scratches. They are durable all rubber that is strong but will also not damage his teeth like nylon or have me terrified he may eat a piece like rawhide bones. These toys are his favorites now! The long one is a little dense and heavy but that gave me some confidence in its ability to survive! Highly recommended for owners of destroyer puppies!!

My pittie (60 lbs) and pit/GSD mix (70+ lbs) have yet to destroy this thing. Durable is an understatement. They destroy every "power chewer" toy out there with ease (black kongs, nylon toys, you name it), except this one. My only complaint is because of it's durability it is kinda big and heavy. My dogs chew on it and fight over it (they end up carrying it around the yard together or chewing on either end together), but it just seems a bit clunky and awkward. I wouldn't say it is one of their favorites and I think the size is why.

My pit/pyrenees mix destroys "tough chew" toys in days if not hours. At the time I am writing this review he has had this toy for a long time as well as others of this brand and none have been destroyed yet (purchased a year ago). Amazing brand that really is for the tough chewers!

The media could not be loaded. This is 16 pound Oliver. He can start getting chunks off a Kong Extreme of any style in less than 30 minutes. He now has two Ghounuts toys, a ring and this cylinder. As you can see, he is focused on total destruction. But not a scratch on either toy so far. Very impressive. I didn’t think we would ever find something he could not destroy.

We got 2 of these, one for each of our bulldogs, and so far they have taken a beating and there have been no chunks taken out of them, not even any scratches. This toy definitely seems like the most durable of any we have tried (and we have tried a bunch) PROS: 1. Super Strong/Heavy: The toy has some weight to it and it feels like a tank when you take it out of the box. While this may not be a great feature for small/weak dogs, bulldogs need something heavy to drag around to tire them down a little bit. Our male bulldog has a tendency to try to destroy and then physically eat any toy we give him and so far he has failed :) 2. Lifetime Warranty: Since we have gone through so many toys, its nice to know if this one, for whatever reason, breaks down, we can get another one. While there is an additional shipping cost for sending in the deformed toy, its cheaper than having to find and buy another strong toy. Since our dogs seems to enjoy this toy, the lifetime warranty is a plus. If your dog didn't like the toy, I can see where this would be a pointless feature that probably just added to the cost of the product. CONS: 1. Price: The toy is on the higher end of the price scale. I understand this is due to the offer of a lifetime warranty (which you still have to pay for shipping your toy to them and then getting a replacement) AND due to the HIGH HIGH QUALITY of the product, but a little bit cheaper would have been nice. Luckily our dogs enjoy the toy, but as an online purchase where we can't see, feel, or smell the product before hand, it was a pricy gamble. 2. Rubber Smell: Out of the box the toys have a strong industrial rubber smell that has seemed to linger. Some dogs may be put off by this smell and to an extent I think our dogs are. They don't chew this toy as much as others in the past, they just love to have me throw it around for them. This could be because of the rubber smell or it could be because they realized they couldn't destroy it. Either way, its something to keep in mind when making a purchase this large for a giant piece of rubber. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend the product to any dog owner who can't find a toy that stays in one piece very long.

My dog is a power chewer. She will shred kongs in a day. The only thing that lasts for her is nylabones, but I read they are too hard and can break her teeth, so I bought these. The rubber smell is SO strong. I could smell it through the packaging. She would not chew on these and I think it's because of the smell. I've tried all different kinds of toys with her, but she has never been disinterested in a toy before now. They seem high quality, they just didn't work for her.

Buy this toy, you won't regret it. It won't last forever but it'll last longer than other toys. I've tried everything. My dog destroys everything. I originally started with a pink rubber tire toy from the dog store. She ripped it to bits before the day had ended. Red kongs don't last more than 30 minutes. Black kong pretty much the same. I tried the Bark box super chewer with all those nylon toys which suckkk. Super frustrating because if she didn't have a toy to chew, she would go for cables, the couch, the wall, the door, she chipped off some of my floorboards too. I was literally sitting in front of her watching tv And I didn't notice. Then I found these toys. At first she didn't like them because they do smell quite a lot like rubber but after the smell went away or tapered off a little bit she started to enjoy them. I ended up buying like 3 of these and then some doughnut looking ones, some tugs etc back in like March. I'm down to the last toy. Everything else has been ripped apart. This toy lasted me maybe 4-8 weeks and its soft enough that it probably wont damage your dogs teeth.

I have some BIG chewers and it seems to be holding up however the price is a bit much. I'd say this would b a good 30.00 toy for the Maxx version of the biggest size. The Kong Xtreme XL is about the same without the lifetime warranty which you still pay 10.00 for the goughnut if you need a new one. Good concept and use of the rubber tree sap but again the price is too steep for what it is currently.
