  • I really like this eBike form factor.
Style: 14" 350w Black
E-Mobility products are pretty abundant these days but you do need to be careful to buy a product from a trusted manufacturer, otherwise, you may be at risk of a battery fire. With that said, Gotrax is a brand that I trust. I've owned three previous GoTrax products (two small scooters and a folding bike) and they have not had any issues with charging yet. E-Bikes have come out in many form factors, from full-size bikes to smaller bikes like the Gotrax 14"/16" Folding Electric Bike which have a very distinct look to them. They have very small tires and the battery pack pretty much makes up the body of the bike. In this form factor, the battery is not removeable and the body doesn't fold but the handle bar and seat can be easily released and folded, making it even more compact than a standard folded ebike with 20" tires when both are folded up. A great thing about this form factor is that it is more visible than a scooter when in use so that if you are riding in the bicycle lane, drivers and other cyclists will be more likely to see you. Bicycles are also more comfortable to ride than a scooter. With that said, you still need to be careful because you certainly won't be as visible as someone on a standard sized bike. What I like about the size of this Gotrax is that I can easily throw it into the trunk of my car to take out to the beach or park. In addition, if you have an ev and you need to leave your car to charge on a slow charger for a few hours, you can easily bring this bike with you to get around. Compared to a folding bike with 20" wheels, this bike fits into the trunk more easily and sets up faster. With an acceptable top speed of 15mph or so, this thing zips around the neighborhood but please be careful on the big streets where the cars are zipping by at double or even triple your speed. Avoid that situation if you can. In terms of the computer, this bike's operation is simple. There isn't a large LCD screen with controls for various assist levels. There's just a key that you turn to engage electric assist and an accelerator. Simply turn on and go. In terms of pedal assist, I feel that the electronics does a good job. It's just enough assist to make pedaling easier, but will not feel like you're accelerating a lot with just a small push of the pedals. A good bike for going to a friend's house in the neighborhood or just playing at the park, it will not take up too much space in your garage and it is easy to operate. The price is also very good, compared to full-sized bikes. Good product. ... show more

  • GREAT BIKE! SO MUCH FUN!
Style: 14" 350w Black
I was so excited when this arrived that I could not wait to put it together. It took me about an hour to assemble but all the parts went together relatively easy. Then I charged it up and took it for a test drive. The bike is a perfect size for me considering I am 5 foot 5 inches. Peddling is easy even with the power turned off and I feel the bike's midrange gear ratio is suitable. The first click of the key switch engages the power assist of the peddles which makes going uphill way easier. If peddling uphill is too much of a problem, you can always twist the accelerator/throttle and let the motor take you uphill or jet you along a straightaway on level ground. I weigh close to 180 and it moves fast enough for me and it has no problem moving my mass. There is no speedometer on this bike so you have no idea of your actual speed. When in full motorized mode the bike runs extremely quiet. The ride is smooth on pavement due to the wide tires. When you click the key to the second position you get all the same features of the first position with the addition of a front headlight and tail light. The front headlight is adequate for night riding but you may want to wear either a head-mounted brighter lamp or a brighter wider beam bike-mounted light. PORTABILITY: The bike easily folds down in 4 easy clicks. 1) The seat pushes down or can be removed 2) Fold down the handlebar assembly 3) Fold up both peddles I found that the bike was a bit heavy for me to lift into my trunk or an SUV @ 54 pounds. BTW no place in my searches does it list the weight of the bike which is 54 pounds. Overall, for the price, this is a great bike for a child who is responsible or old enough to handle this type of vehicle or for an older person who just wants to take a joyride. ... show more

  • Bought once and needed to exchange twice before finally canceling
Style: 14" 350w Black
Bought back in November and for three weeks no issues. Great battery life, great distance, literally no issues till week 3. Suddenly there was no power despite a full battery and no way to actually pedal the bike without power. Called customer service and immediately they exchanged it out for me. Jump forward to 12/13/24 when the new one arrives. I haven’t even been able to get 2 miles with this bike before it starts falling apart. For three consecutive days, my tires are constantly flat despite how many times I have filled them with air. I did my research, filled tires to manufacturers specifications and even had my mechanic cousin look over the tires as well to see if maybe I missed a tear or puncture. Nope. None of that, just another manufacturer defect and now I will have to wait till mid to late January for another new one to stay with this brand. No thanks, officially canceled the order and arranged a return pickup. This bike was supposed to be an investment to save money and now two months later, I’m completely disappointed with this brand and manufacturer. Don’t waste your money on this brand. ... show more

  • The E-Bike I Didn’t Know I Needed!
Style: 14" 350w Black
I've had the pleasure of using the GoTrax Nano 14 electric bike, and it has genuinely been a game-changer for me. Dealing with neuropathy in both feet, mobility can often be a challenge. However, this e-bike has exceeded my expectations in every way. The form factor of the Nano 14 is impressive. It's designed with compactness and convenience in mind, folding up easily for storage and transportation. This has been especially beneficial for me; I can tuck it away in small spaces without any hassle. One aspect that stood out to me was how easy it was to assemble. The bike came with a three-piece tool kit, and the included user’s manual was straightforward and easy to follow. Within a short time, I had it up and running, ready to hit the road. I have the black with teal trim GoTrax Nano 14. While the ride can be a little bumpy, that's to be expected. I added a rack and basket to the back of the bike, which has made small grocery trips fun and convenient. If you're commuting around town and not taking it off-road, the ride isn't as rough as you might think. The seat is thick and comfortable, and the pneumatic tires add to the overall ease of riding. Charging takes less than 5 hours, which is very efficient. The charger resembles a laptop charger, and the charging port, located on the left side of the bike, is easy to use. The top speed is 15 mph, although I seldom, if ever, go that fast. The pedal assist is smooth and easy to use, making every ride enjoyable. The bike includes two keys. Use the key to turn it on for pedal assist and throttle without pedaling. Turn the key to the right again, and a bright headlight and taillight come on. The rear taillight will flash when you press either the front or rear brake, alerting anyone behind you that you're slowing down or stopping. You don’t have to use a key at all if you want to manually pedal without any motor assistance. Performance-wise, the GoTrax Nano 14 stands out. It's smooth and reliable, giving me a sense of freedom and independence I hadn't felt in a while. Riding it is a breeze, even with my condition. The electric assist makes pedaling effortless, allowing me to travel further and more comfortably than ever before. In terms of mobility, the Nano 14 has made a significant impact. I feel more active and engaged, able to go places I previously couldn't without struggle. This bike isn't just a mode of transportation; it's a tool that's enhanced my quality of life. It's also a good bike for those of us in the 55-64 age range. It has a sleek look with a low profile. Given the impressive build quality of this GoTrax Nano 14, I plan to explore more of their products. I’m considering either the GoTrax Electric Scooter with Seat for Adults or one of their 26-inch step-through models, as I wouldn't have trouble getting on or off. I’ve enjoyed my first e-bike a lot more than I thought I would. In summary, the GoTrax Nano 14 electric bike is exceptional. Its compact form factor, ease of assembly and storage, and outstanding performance make it ideal for anyone seeking mobility and convenience, especially those with physical challenges like neuropathy. I highly recommend it. I’ve been using the bike for almost three weeks now, giving me ample time to truly appreciate its benefits before writing this review. ... show more

  • The battery life from 100% to 0% is too low. Minimum!!!! 14AH for this type of bike.
Style: 14" 350w Black
The gotrax nano 14.. it is a 7 out of 10. I assembled this bike in less than 15 minutes making sure all nuts and bolts were tightened fasten and secure. This e-bike can definitely go 15.3 miles per hour. In New York City from light to light the acceleration is pretty decent. The functionality is easy. No frame damage and is definitely worth the money. The brakes are awesome. The only problem that I have with this bike is the max range. The battery is only 7.8Ah. I'm not sure exactly the range in miles but the battery does go quick. Couple of modifications I had to make in order to enjoy the ride. I added a 20Ah in the rear with a bike rack that holds against the seat. I opened the base of the bike where the internal battery was located swap that battery out for a 14Ah by removing these clamps that are screwed in. Put some cushion in there tuck some wires to the side. And now I have a total of 34Ah battery for usage. Each battery comes with a separate charge port for 2 chargers. I leave it for the 5 hours and it's full again. You can get from a to b and c at any time. So if you buy this bike just be sure to spend a little more money on a separate battery so you can last longer on this bike. And you don't have to rely on pedal assist. Thanks for reading me and have an awesome life. ... show more

  • The manufacturer got a star deduction. The bike is great.
Style: 14" 350w Black
The 4 star is due to poor customer service. The bike is great. I am not mechanically inclined so I had problems. My stem has a quill system and the directions showed only how to assemble the stem without a quill. When I emailed the manufacturer with pictures and asked for a source for the installations for this stem, which is apparently the old system, the response was I needed to do a video and send a picture of the product name. I guess Gotrax Nano 14 Electric Bike wasn't clear enough. I just let it slide that it came scratched in several places and missing a piece in the stem that is basically cosmetic. Thankfully I have a friend that is great at assembling things. He had the quill system set up and ready in 10 minutes. The bike itself is great. The handlebars seem a bit close but not a deal breaker as I adjust. I will be using it to zip around the French Quarter in New Orleans so the ability to be stable on horrible roads is important and so far so good. The only issue I have to figure out now is that the handlebars always seem to go crooked and when I go to ride again I have to realign with the front tire. Trying to figure it out without asking for round 2 from my friend. The bike is great. If you are good with mechanical things and tools, you will the bike. I am just hoping I never have to reach out to the company that took my bucks for this item because apparently there are issues. ... show more

  • portability and practicality
Style: 14" 350w Black
While it may not have a removable battery or a fully folding body, the handlebar and seat fold down effortlessly, allowing for ultra-compact storage that fits easily into a car trunk, much easier than larger folding e-bikes. What stands out about this bike is its practicality. For those who need a reliable mode of transport while their EV charges or want to zip around the park or beach, it’s the ideal companion. Despite its small form, it doesn’t skimp on performance. The pedal-assist function kicks in with the first click of the key, making uphill climbs a breeze, and if pedaling isn’t your thing, just twist the throttle and let the 350W motor take over. It’s quick enough to keep pace, even with a 180lb rider, and feels smooth thanks to the wide tires that absorb bumps along the way. The build is surprisingly sturdy, and while it’s compact, it’s not too small—it’s just right for someone around 5'5". The midrange gear ratio works well, allowing for easy pedaling with or without power assist. The bike’s second key position lights up the front and rear lights, which are adequate for nighttime riding, though an extra headlamp wouldn’t hurt for those pitch-black rides. Portability is where this bike really shines. In just four simple steps, it folds down into a neatly packed unit. Pop the seat down, fold the handlebar, and tuck in the pedals, and you're good to go! It’s small enough to bring along for errands, spontaneous trips, or even as a backup ride during longer journeys. ... show more
