I bought my daughter a hoverboard last Christmas for her big gift. My daughter loved skateboarding and I thought the hoverboard was going to be a huge hit. Much to my dismay it wasn't. She took forever to open it and then it never really got any use. The learning curve for a hoverboard was intimidating to her, although she could skateboard pretty well, the hoverboard was not something she was excited about. Having spent quite a bit of money it's a hoverboard and seeing it collect dust bothered me greatly. I've been trying to decide whether we should sell it or wait and see if she would take interest in it later on. When I discovered the Gotrax hoverboard kart seat attachment, I had never seen anything like it before. I thought well, this could go one of two ways. I will either make a bigger financial blunder or it will make the hoverboard the fun exciting gift that I thought it was going to be when I bought it in the first place. I decided to bite the bullet and give it a chance and am I ever glad I did. My daughter absolutely loves this! It took the fear factor out of the hoverboard and made it into something super fun. It was easy to put together and took very little time, if she ever decides she wants to just use the hoverboard alone, it can be easily taken apart again. Really happy with this product. The hoverboards we have had gotten overlooked for a bit and this has breathed new life into them. The kids are loving them again. The seat attachment seems sturdy for my 8 and 12-year-olds. It's easy to assemble and easy to switch the seat between the three hoverboards we have. I got my son a hoverboard for Christmas and she couldn't use it for months because lets be honest, those things are dangerous! Then I found this attachment on amazon and bought it and my son literally rides her hover board everyday. But this is a good addition to a hoverboard if you want to turn it into a go kart. This item is made of solid material and is sturdy. The directions could be confusing if you don’t know how to read schematics. It works well but the Velcro straps that attach the seat to the hoverboard scrap often. This has caused them to start to come apart quickly from applying breaks too quickly.
