I had an issue with my GoTrax SA1 after the bottom cover became loose and the scooter stopped turning on. I contacted GoTrax support, and Lydia was very helpful throughout the warranty process. She patiently walked me through troubleshooting, sent me a replacement controller and screws under warranty, and provided the correct installation video. After following the instructions, my scooter is now fully operational. I'm very happy with the customer service and appreciate Lydia's support.

DO NOT BUT THIS SCOOTER!!! I bought this for my daughter and within 2 months, the frame actually split in half where the handle bar and foot deck connect, luckily I noticed and she was not on it, as she would have injured herself. For 6 weeks I’ve called this company trying to do a warranty claim, and after that long I’ve just found out I will pay to ship the defective product back to the company. (Shipping costs are half of what the scooter costs) I was told at 3 weeks of calling I was approved for the new scooter and I would notified when it shipped. Then I couldn’t get an answer on why it wasn’t shipping, until my last call where they said they refuse to ship until they get the broken scooter back, even though it was never my daughters fault it broke nor did they specify that in the email saying they’d be shipping me a new one. I feel bad for giving this company my business, shady is an understatement. I guess if my daughter would have been injured they might cared more, who knows. I will not be sending the scooter back, after the lies on the email and switch ups with the warranty, I’d be an idiot to spend more money on the hopes of getting a new scooter, and God forbid if the new scooter was broke as well. My daughter is 10 years old weighs 76lbs, and was scared to go over 10mph on it. Never dropped and taken inside when done playing. Bad QC and worse customer service. Stay away

I’ve been really impressed with my GoTrax electric scooter. It feels very durable and well-built, and it has held up great with regular use. The ride is smooth and comfortable, even on longer trips, and the acceleration and braking feel responsive and safe. It’s also lightweight enough to carry and easy to fold up when I’m not using it. Overall, it’s been reliable, fun to ride, and a great value for the price!

I spent at least a month going back and forth trying to decide which brand scooter to get and what features were most important to me. I really liked the idea of pneumatic tires more than solid. I am not relying on this scooter for actual commuting so I wasn't so worried about getting a flat. Also people ride bikes all the time and don't have solid tires (I do understand it is easier to replace a bike tire than a scooter tire). I guess I figure if I get a flat I'll take it down to my local bike shop and pay them to change it out for me. No issues with that so far. The scooter arrived undamaged and all pieces were accounted for. Getting the handle bars into the stem is definitely not easy. It was frustrating as some others have commented. I didn't think it would be a big deal but it kind of is. I almost cut the wire in half trying to jam the handle bars in and get it to line up with the screw holes. There is literally no room to bunch up the wire to get it to fit. I finally did get it pushed in and lined up after about 15 minutes. Had it taken any longer and I would have been really upset. Once that was done though everything was good to go. The battery showed 3 bars out of the box and the manual tells you to fully charge before riding. I plugged in the scooter and tried to turn it on and it shut off. I did this a couple of times and got a little worried as I expected to be able to adjust the settings while it was plugged in. Luckily my 8 yr old daughter is smarter than me and told me to unplug it and try it. That worked and it powered up fine. The scooter is very solid, well built and doesn't look like a toy at all. It feels like something you can rely on, time will tell if that is true. Ultimately if the build is solid but the electronics are junk it doesn't matter how sturdy it is, if it won't go anywhere. I dont have any issues with the electronic locking system. I thought that might be a pain but it's not. I think you can disable it but its such a none issue for me I just left it on. I have tried the cable lock yet but do like having that option available to me if I need to run into the store for a few minutes. Others have noted it is useful to lock up your helmet. Throttle is one of the few areas that need improvement. I don't like the cruise control at all. The fact that you can't disable it and that it engages automatically is very frustrating. I just dont like having it engage automatically after a few seconds and would rather I had the option to manually turn it on/off. It can be a pain to try and focus on maintaining a certain speed for a few seconds to get it to engage. If you hit a bump while you are trying to maintain a speed for the cruise control it seems to start the count over. I hate that. I find myself focusing on getting the cruise control engaged instead of paying attention to driving it and that is dangerous. I hate the kick start and you do have to press on the throttle a couple times to get it going. I think this is a safety feature but when you are at a stop light and it turns green it is frustrating to get the scooter going. Once it is going its fine but there have been times i feel like I have basically pushed it across the street before it kicks in. The ride is smooth and solid. It is fast and there is good torque, it isn't shy about getting up most hills. I am 165lbs and it gets up to 20 in no time. I have no issues with the ride and it is fun. Overall I do like this scooter alot, especially for the price. I cant really comment on range or battery life. I use this scooter mainly just for recreation. I work remotely and it is nice to go for a scooter ride at lunch time to get some fresh air. I have noticed that a normal cruise with some slight hills and fluctuating speed between 10-20mph I lose 1 bar after about 4.5 miles. I normally don't go farther than that. I would guess you would easily get 10-15 miles on a charge without issue. I would buy the scooter again despite some of its weak point (cruise control and throttle) because I dont think in this price range there is a perfect scooter. I did get a good deal on this during a flash sale which is why i pulled the trigger on this model. I have had the scooter 2 weeks and put 21 miles on it. I hope this helps someone out there looking for a scooter. It is alot of fun and a unique feeling when you ride it. There are so many options and brands out there and the ratings vary so drastically from 1 star to 5 its hard to know what to buy.

I have purchased Gotrax before and I absolutely recommend them. This pink one is really pretty and perfect for me or one of my teen grand children. It was easy to assemble and works great. Its speed is pretty good, I don’t need speed at 62 I wanted safe and sturdy and this scooter does that. It only took a few hours to fully charge and the charge lasted a good while. I bought this one so my sister and I can ride together, she is 60 and I trust this scooter for either of us. The tires road nice,brakes worked great and had a nice platform for standing.
