Came compressed in a small box and I doubted the 30" x 96" foam was all in there. Pull the wrap off and BAM!! It practically jumped across the room and into shape. Was super easy to cut to length with a serated bread knife. It is FULL 6" thick and firm (as desired) and perfect for replacing my old Cargo sofa cushions. Cant wait to start sewing a cover! Had some slight off-gassing first 12 hours, but thats to be expected and wasn't bad. I will definitely order another one for a different project. More comfortable than my sons twin Sealy mattress! Replaced the cushions on a 8 year old couch, love seat and ottoman. The upholstery is still in good shape so it made sense for us. Used the old cushions as a guide. Measured the cushion covers as well and then marked and cut the new foam to fit using an old electric bread knife. Overall was a 1 day project to complete.     • Saved my couch!
My son spilled chocolate milk on my cushions. Despite my efforts to clean, they still had an awful smell. I had plans to dispose the entire couch until I realized the cost of a new couch. My last ditch effort was to order replacement foam. I cannot beleive what a difference. Not only is my smell gone, my couch does not sink when we sit on it. Very, very pleased! ... show more

    • thrilled with my first sofa cushion replacement
Our living room features an admittedly economy-type sectional from Boscovs. It fits the space, looks nice, but where it was showing it’s “not-high-end-ness” was in the cushions. The foam in the areas where we sat the most would compress almost completely when anyone sat down. I didn’t want a new couch, so gave this a try. Was thrilled that within about 90 minutes and with no special tools (I just grabbed a steak knife and sawed away, not hard to do…and raw edges were concealed anyway inside the cushion cover). I just unzipped the problem cushions, took out the old foam and traced it onto this new nicer foam and cut with a serrated small kitchen knife pretty easily. I peeled off and was able to re-use the dacron (spelling?) from the old foam (since I was unprepared without any new stuff on hand) and since I also didn’t have adhesive so just sort of wrapped the dacron around the foam before finally inserting it back into the cushion cover. Success….and now the sofa looks and feels like the day it was delivered! Like a new sofa for under $100! ... show more
