This gel does what it promises. It keeps your style in place all day without flaking. It washes out easily with warm water and shampoo. A little goes a long way. When I use it on my boys I will add a little water to it and work it in my hands a bit before working it though their hair. My husband uses it full strength and loves it. I've got wavy hair that always seems to go where it wants. I've tried gels, hair spray and clay and I usually end up using some combination of them (gel with hair spray or clay with hair spray). Even when that works okay I wake up in the morning with my hair uncontrollable and I have to throw on a hat when I take the dog out for a walk (pre shower). I only purchased this product because I needed a trial size to bring on an airplane and this was the only gel that my local pharmacy carried. Well, after using it only once I was hooked. It holds my hair in place really well. I can just use my fingers to keep my hair looking a bit more natural and rough... or I can brush it to slick it down a bit more. I usually do the sides with the brush and the top with my fingers. What I like the most is that it last longer than my other methods. And, even the next morning, I can just brush my hair and it looks pretty good... not perfect... but good enough that I can go outside without a hat on when I see other people. I will mention that it does have consistency more similar to glue. It's thick and it sticks to your fingers. You need soap and water to rinse it off your hands. I bought this looking for a gel with good hold, but this is more of a hair glue. It works fine, but if you put it on heavy, your hair will be stiff as a board until you wash it out.

I use the gel for my edges and it lady me days! I can literally go to sleep with the edges and it will stay! I have only used one tube so far and it’s been months, definitely worth the money. All edges above have been held by the gel nothing else!
