Description

Gorilla Tough & Clear Mounting Tape (pack of 1) is a clear double sided tape that mounts in an instant; for a long-lasting; weatherproof bond. The crystal clear tape won’t yellow over time; and holds up to 38 pounds. Gorilla Tough & Clear Mounting Tape is perfect for indoor and outdoor projects and sticks to smooth and rough surfaces. Completing DIY projects are easy with this single pack of tough; strong double sided tape. Mount; build; and repair for a perfect finish; every time. Adhesive tape for wall hanging; bonding odd objects; or mounting heavy objects. Directions: Apply tape to back of object vertically; allowing for even distribution of weight. Avoid touching surfaces of the tape. Note: Apply 4” of tape per 1lb of weight. Cut the tape and press to secure the tape to object. Remove clear liner and align objects to desired placement. Press firmly; as heavy duty tape conforms to the surface and creates a strong; Permanent bond. Once Heavy Duty Mounting Tape is used to mount an object; it is meant to be held in place permanently; and not be removed. Double sided tape for walls and windows alike. I really like this mounting tape, the biggest issue I have is how hard it is to unpeel the top layer. It takes me minutes and a razer blade to get it to detach from the top layer. I wish it was easier. The bottom layer just rolls out and it's good to go.

I am using Siri to write this, so sorry for any strange or words that are simply messed up :-). I bought this because being low vision I need to stick things to tables, walls, chairs, etc. and then not have a move. I have one other double face tape, and I never seem to have the strength of this stuff has. From the first day I used it it’s been very helpful and convenient. I have attached one of my remote controls to the side of the table so I can find it readily when I need it. It also seems to be stuck on there but not stuck on there forever that it looks like I will be able to peel it off when it comes time to change the batteries I’ve used another things around the house want to hold the power strip to the wall behind my coffee pot etc. and it all seems to be very helpful and good I’m very pleased with it I’ll order more. I think my application was a little outside the gorilla's ability. If both the surfaces are flat and smooth you're probably golden using this product. I tried to attach a smooth surface to a textured one and it proved a bit tricky. Mostly works fine and is super easy to use. Would do things this way again. ... show more

This tape is extremely sticky. It saved me the hassle of having to buy another hanging screen door; the tape has extended the life of my current screen door. It suprisingly clings well to the previous adhesive that I was unable to remove. This is the best double stick tape I have encountered. We use it primarily outdoors and it will stay on 12 months through rain, snow, wind, etc. and doesn’t move. The best part for me is that it takes significantly less work to take off than other double sticks and doesn’t take paint off as long as you are a little patient as you remove it. ... show more

Well it does the job. If you have an apartment complex who is particular with drilling holes, this does the job! I was able to mount my camera with this tape to my door frame and it’s held up pretty nicely. AZ heat is no joke and the fact that it has withstood this environment should mean something. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have a storage case so be sure to save the packaging or find a nice container to store the tape in. ... show more
