Review of Alientape Nano Double Sided Tape, Multipurpose Removable Adhesive Transparent Grip Mounting Tape Washable Strong Sticky Heavy Duty for Carpet Photo Frame Poster Décor As Seen On TV @ $17.95 for 3 rolls (total of 30 feet) at time of order. I am sure I will find other uses for this later on, but I ordered this for two specific applications in my old 2002 Taurus. I needed a strong tape that would hold a light that I used in my trunk to replace the broken trunk/cargo light. The other applications were for the two cigar lighter/power points on the dashboard. One of them, an OEM part, kept coming out and the other was a replacement that did not fit correctly to begin with. This tape did the things I needed it to do and did it well, so far at least. It's thick. It’s not all that easy to work with. It is already sticky on one side with a thin plastic coating that you peel off on the other side. Yes, it is a sticky, double-sided tape. You don’t get a whole lot, but it is slightly cheaper in a 3-roll package, and I can share with family. This seems very versatile. It does not seem very wall friendly, especially painted walls and surfaces. This stuff is removeable and reuseable. But one must be careful of what you want to attach and where you want to attach it. I included a picture of the light attached in my trunk. The 3M adhesive that came with that light kit was not holding the light in place. This alien tape has done well so far, and that is with a lot of bumpy roads. Hopefully this helps someone decide on this product.

Saw this on TV and was quite skeptical, but decided to buy some and see. Not suitable for everything, but I've used it a few times for specific jobs and it works just as claimed! Right now it's holding my trackball onto a mount so i can use it in a different position.

I usually don't buy those heavily advertised items from TV infomercials, but I did so this time because the first adhesive brand of tape (Gorilla tape) that I purchased failed to do the job for me. Upon receiving my order of Alien Tape, I noticed the adhesive feels more like a gel with the tenacity reminiscent of gum stuck to your shoe. According to the infomercial, Alien Tape uses a micro-suction cup technology to bond to various surfaces with the ability to withstand up to 30 pounds of weight. That should be enough for what I needed this product to do. We recently installed a new metal garage door which has a mail slot carved into the door. I needed something to catch the mail so it won't fall to the ground. I bought an acrylic bin to catch the mail, but I needed something to allow the acrylic bin to be fixed to the garage door. In less than an hour, the acrylic bin dropped to the ground when I used double-sided Gorilla tape. That all changed once I switched to Alien Tape. I cut out multiple strips of double-sided Alien Tape to bond the acrylic bin to the garage door. I was so amazed at how the acrylic bin held up. It's now been over a week now, and I have opened and closed the garage door a number of times. The bond is so strong that I am confident the acrylic bin will not fall onto the floor. I'm sure there are many other uses for this product around the house, but Alien Tape saved the day and it took care of my immediate problem regarding the mail slot on the garage door.

The tape is great if you know what to use it on and what NOT to use it Do not use on plaster walls Do not use under rugs (pic attached) If you use it on something like glass and your holding something down. No need to take top piece of plastic off. Easier to remove later. It is good tape. Be careful what you use it on.

Okay, I was skeptical about all the hype around ALIEN TAPE, but after trying it myself? Consider me a convert! This double-sided tape is genuinely in a league of its own when it comes to heavy-duty sticking power.
