The directions are not the best, but once you get it locked in its pretty smooth. Make sure when you are putting the drawers together you put the brackets just as they are pictured either going up or down. Also the drawer bottoms are pretty flimsy but overall it went together pretty well. Lastly before you attach the final pieces together ensure you take of the corner guards as that will prevent the top to lay flush. ... show more

This is a good deal for the price. Drawer bottoms are flimsy but pleased with the rest of the desk. Larger than I envisioned it being but that just means the granddaughter can use it longer as she gets older.

Customer service is exceptional! We took the desk apart to transport for college and lost some screws. We bought the desk a while ago and didn’t have the directions so it was difficult to find replacement screws. The company went above and beyond to help. Look no further. The drawers have to be the only thing that’s time consuming if building but it’s so worth every penny. I hesitated in getting the less wider one that comes with the stool but I’m so glad I got this one. I love it my favorite Amazon purchase of all times

Even though the box arrived In really bad shape, I gave it 5 stars because nothing was missing from the box and there were no scratches or digs in the desk. It’s so pretty. It took me about 3 hours to put together, but I’m sure if your not as clueless as me you can do it faster lol. Once it was finished, I was shocked with how big it is and the amount of table space I have the drawers are huge and overall I’m in love with this desk.
