Let’s be real—thieves are getting smarter these days. If your garage door has inset windows, you really need to protect your stuff from nosy onlookers. I was torn between getting white or frosted window film, and I ultimately went with white. I wanted to make sure no one could see anything inside. With frosted film, I was worried that people might still see shapes and shadows, which I noticed in some of the customer photos. But with the white film, you don’t have that issue unless you push something right up against the window. The film came in a standard size that fit my garage windows perfectly, which was awesome. It took me about 2.5 hours to cover all eight windows. Make sure to grab a window film installation kit that includes an X-Acto knife, a squeegee with a felt edge, and a spray bottle. Here’s a handy tip: spray the sticky side of the film generously with soapy water during installation—it makes it way easier to work with, and you can squeegee out any bubbles easily. Use some force with the squeegee to get all the bubbles out. This is a tough film material, so it won't tear if you use some force to get the bubbles out. It’s been a month since I installed it, and the stickiness is still holding strong, even though my garage door gets direct sunlight for half the day. I did have one air bubble pop up a week in. But I was able to take care of it in seconds with my squeegee. The only downside is that the film blocks about 85% of visible light. So, if you want your garage to be super bright, this might not be the best choice. It still get some light in, but it’s faint. On the bright side, the windows look amazing from the outside! It really gives a professional installation vibe and is a great deal for the price. I definitely recommend this window film!

Bought this to cover the lower part of a glass door to prevent our dog from constantly pressing his dirty little nose against the window while trying to look at lizards on our patio. It's been on a little over a week and works perfectly. You really need to understand how to apply film or tint like this to get the best results, which is to get the glass really clean and then spray a TON of water/soap solution onto the glass before applying the film (like, way more than you think you need), then squeegee it all out to get rid of all air bubbles and get the best adhesion.

I bought these for my front windows because my three dogs bark ALL the time at anything. I was very reluctant to use these because I didn’t know how they would look on the inside or outside and I love natural sunlight so that was also a concern. Super easy to put up, they come with little grids so you can cut in a straight line. I was able to put them up myself. They adhere to the window very well. My dogs cannot see through them at all, and it has decreased the barking by 90% while still letting some light through. I would 100% recommend these.

This film is super easy to apply. My paned windows are too small to use a squeegee to apply, so I just used a soft-tipped scraper tool. A spray bottle and an Exacto knife. The film is thick enough to easily apply, but not too thick. I used it to block the visual of outside activities from my over-protective dogs, who bark at any passerby and at every delivery vehicle. I only covered the bottom two rows, which are mostly camouflaged by bushes & trees outside. It works perfectly! No more dogs jumping at the windows, the drapes, and marking up the windowsills. We still get all the natural light.

I followed the instructions. Pulled off the film a couple times, and still had bubble appear next day. I used a credit card and was able to get all bubbles out upon installation. Looked great. However, the following day there are bubbles under the film. I have tried multiple times on some windows. Placing on my 8 garage door windows. No success. Looking to having it removed and have a professional come in and install some film that will work. Good luck. Wish I could return for a full refund, but it has already been cut to fit and installed.

Easy to put up by yourself. Good as a privacy film. Has a strong plastic smell that didn’t go away after a couple weeks. Not effective at all as a UV blocker.
