Received exactly what I expected. Although it did have a bit of a smell once I took it out of the packaging it didn’t take long to go away. This not old keeps our rug from slipping but also protects out hardwood floors where the rug lies, and adds a little bit of cushioning to our thin rug. I would only recommend sizing to the exact dimensions of your rug, or ordering up and trimmer down, if your rug is on the thinner side. I ordered just a bit too small based on the rug size and thinness so you can tell where the rug pad gripper is and is not, but we’ll see how the rug holds up over time! Will definitely order again if I’m in need of another in the future.

My husband made a homemade platform bed for our King Size bed. And our new matress is made of a very slick material. Which kept causing our matress to slide across the wood. So I took a chance and gave this a try under the mattress to stop it from sliding. It works Perfectly!! We no longer have to keep pushing our mattress back into place every other night. This grip pad is keeping the mattress right in place. And this is with a cat who insist on wedging a pillow between the wall and me so she can sleep next to me adding force to it every night. So it may be a bit off the beaten path of what this is intended for but sometimes you just have to think outside of the box.

I've had this for about a week and it has not moved an inch – has withstood a good amount of traffic with a 14 month old GSD puppy running back and forth on it. This also adds a little cushion to the rug which is nice. Price and quality are much better than previous rug pads I've tried. This didn't come in the exact size of my rug, so I ordered one that was a bit larger and cut it to size.

This is the second time I have purchased the same rug in the last 10 years bc I loved it so much. It my previous home I also had wood floors but I had to use carpet tape to get the edges and corners to stay down. For some reason this padding (using for several rugs on wood floors) holds the rug well. It padding is normal

It is easy to cut to the size of the rug and holds the rug in place pretty well. There is still some minimal movement over time, but nothing too noticeable from just normal walking across the rug. It did smell a little strange when I first opened it, but I just aired it out outside for a few minutes and the smell easily dissipated. I appreciate that it does not attach permanently to the rug so it is easy to remove for washing as needed. Great solution for sliding rugs!

It works pretty good except I didn't have any way to stick it to the carpet.. so I used some tape to stick it to the carpet so that it stays put... Now the carpet does not slip on the floor

O have bought two of these, as the rug I purchased was sliding under my feet. Was a bit annoying to put out alone but I got it with a little help. Now the carpet stays put and does not move an inch! Would buy again if I ever get another rug needing a rug pad!
