The traditional bathroom mats I had were really looking haggard and washing them was awful for the rubber backing. I knew I wanted this chenille style but couldn't find any with a backing that would stick to the floor. Enter Gorilla Grip. These mats look really nice and my favorite part is the grippy backing that's not rubber so I can wash and dry them without the back falling apart. Other reviews have said they don't stick but these suckers don't move at all when I walk on them. Even my old rubber mats moved constantly. I also love that Gorilla Grip offers a mat for square toilet bases - I live in an apartment and I finally have a mat to fit it. The only negative is that they're not as thick as other bath mats so if you are looking for something super thick these are not for you. That being said, these mats are very comfy on my bare feet and absorb plenty of water. Definitely recommend. ... show more

I liked these so much I bought an extra set to have while I'm cleaning the other set. To clean them, simply pop them in the washer and dryer and they come out perfect. Very absorbent and soft.

I do love the bright coral color and the feel of the textured rugs BUT they are not slip resistant and move around easily on my tiled bathroom floor. As an older person that's one feature I need.

I don't normally leave negative reviews, but I wanted to warn anyone else that saw "gorilla grip" and thought that meant the rug would not slide easily. I had other rugs in my bathroom that slid and some that did not and I bought these to replace the ones that slide. This was almost worse because it seemed like it wouldn't slide but then would. Several times I almost fell down because it slipped out and once I was sort of saved by falling onto the top of the toilet so I didn't fall on the ground (this was the contour rug right in front of the toilet). I have another brand I purchased that has a different looking backing, and it washes nice and it grips much more solidly. It is unfortunately too late for me to return these as it took a couple of weeks before I put them in the bathroom and then a couple of weeks of use before I removed them because they were such a fall hazard, so I am past the 30 day time frame. It is worth it to me though to just throw them away since one hospital visit will cost much more than 2 rugs. And I am ordering 2 now from the other company I bought rugs from for my other bathroom. I should have bought them there originally but when I went to order a couple for my master bathroom, this one popped up and the "gorilla grip" wording really made me think they would grip the floor even better; I did not expect it to perform so poorly. ... show more
