This little light is much more brighter than what you would expect. Almost guaranteed you will need to use the light diffuser when doing vlogs with the light on. Very bright, compact, lightweight and is rather versatile in its use. I think if this product was valued in the 20$ range it would be an amazing no-brainer purchase. Can't comment on the battery life as of yet since I have not been using it continuously, but for the time period I have been using it, the battery life is better than expected. I would recommend this product, more so if you can buy it on a sale then 110% go for it. ... show more

    • smallest light you'll find but maybe get the cheaper one if you're not using it with media mod
Firstly, it does the job of lighting things up with 4 light settings. You won't find a brighter light for the size (or even double the size like the Ulanzi). If you are using it with the official media mod, this is the light to get. If you want to use it with a standard shoe, it won't fit snugly without a little help. I took a star off for this issue that they don't make very clear. It can slide into a standard shoe but there's nothing to hold it in place so it can slide out just as easily. There's 2 solutions: 1, wedge a piece of something into the shoe along with the light mod to fill the gap to wedge it in place; or 2, attach the light to the included finger mount then to a shoe mount with finger mount attachments then the finger mounts together. TLDR: get this if using official media mod, get the cheaper one if using a cage with a standard shoe. ... show more

This light was very bright, came with a buffer to make it soft, and mounted nicely. I ended up returning it because it was unnecessary for my project, but it was really cool.

This light mode works well on the go. It super easy to install and use. Rechargeable and easy to snap on or off quickly. Go pro has done a good job with their product line
