I tried the cheaper "Cricut friendly" blade options but they are no comparison to these premium blades. These fit tightly into the holder of my Maker 4 without wobble and cut nice and crisply on the full sheet of material. That means a clean cut even when doing a repeat cut. Cheap blades don't cut nearly as cleanly and they create a shadow cut on repeat cuts. I threw out a ton of material due to cheap blades cutting okay (but not particularly well) on a portion of the material but not all of it. Cut to the chase and buy real Cricut blades. While they do last longer than the normal blades, they still wear out pretty quickly. I purchased these to cut laminated holographic stickers. The normal blades require 2-3 passes to cut through and go dull after 3 or 4 sheets. With these blades, I was able to cut about 5 sheets with a single pass and another dozen or so sheets with 2 passes. Worth the extra money if you need them to last. ... show more
