Sorry I don't know how to edit videos yet so I can't show you what I will be talking about yet. I recently bought the hero 12 kinda by accident. I wanted to buy one but I didn't want to spend the money though. I had put a camera and a sd card in my cart and forgot about it, well I needed some vacuum bag rolls to freeze something, anyway I bought the go pro with that, oops. I have purchased a few other cameras to mount to my motorcycle, needless to say I was buying the cheapest I could that seemed to be ok. Well they weren't. When I mounted them to my bike the image quality was just terrible. I ride a Harley and I don't know if it was vibrations from that, or the stabilization wasn't up to snuff. I figured because I had the go pro in hand I would at least try it and if it didn't do what I wanted I could send it back. Well it works great. That is all I have to say about it. I haven't even gone into the more advanced set up features; and, I made my first video this morning and I was shocked at how smooth the video capture was. The colors were normal, I mean it looked like it did when I saw it with my own eyes, so I'm good with that. The purpose of the camera is to document if anything happens while I'm riding and it does that very well. I really didn't want to spend that much, but I will be keeping the Hero 12 Black and I am looking forward to learning how to use it better. The 25% off makes it a little easier to swallow buying one. I've looked at them for awhile and the price is reasonable in the end. I have a 256GB micro sd for now but it will take up to a terabyte if I want to spend the money, for long rides. End of the story is basically, I love this camera after one use and look forward to using it more. If I can't get the wife to come with me, I can make her watch the videos of the trip at least. Great camera so far, I'm curious to see how it handles a rain storm but I say buy it! I can't wait to figure out how to bluetooth it to the mic on my helmet for voice commands and to see if I will be able to narrate that way while I am riding. It has so many features that it will take me awhile to learn all of them and get the camera set up to do everything I want, or it is at least capable of. Not unhappy I bought it, still kinda expensive, but with these kinds of things you truly get what you pay for. ... show more

    • Amazing Camera!!! Especially for Riding/Driving/POV Shots
Got this as a Christmas gift for my father this paat year! He rides motorcycles and he absolutely loves the quality of the camera and how good it looks in playback when edditing. The battery life is great but id always recommend having multiples if youll be filming all day long. When it comes to accessories you can find literally anything to attatch these cameras to from chest rigs to car body stick on mounts! If you can think of it youll find an accessory to use for this camera. Id recommend this to anyone whos looking to film regularly or needs something for POV recording!! ... show more

    • Does not support getting it under water! Careful if you use it for snorkeling.
Terrible! We bought it and were expecting a time to use it. We didn't really use it much at first, but then were on a trip to the Caribbean. We used it for snorkeling 3 times. No deep at all, it was only snorkeling so the item was just under water no more than 50 centimeters probably, only the lenght of my arm as I was snorkeling on the surface. This third time the item was all full of water inside and does not work anymore. It was perfectly closed and also with the protective item. Unbelievable, this was expected to work under water. I googled to see what happened and I saw a lot of reviews with gopros having the same problem. ... show more

After a long search I chose this as a replacement for an old GoPro I gave to m daughter. It has better functionality and connectivity than my former one. The battery life is as advertised. The durability, compactness and being waterproof worked for me well.
