I purchased this as an upgrade from a Hero4 that I’d acquired used several years ago. I plan on using it for aviation videos but have not yet had the opportunity. Camera came packaged well and as advertised with extra extreme temperature/use long-life batteries and some other accessories and mounting options. I upgraded the memory card to a 128 mb for longer recording time but the card that is included is very adequate. These are amazing, high quality little cameras and I look forward to using this Hero12. Only gave 4 stars because I haven’t actually flown with it yet. ... show more

The camera was easy to figure out even though there are no actual instructions with the camera on how to set it up. The accessory pack however is very confusing. There are a lot of things that look important but you can't figure out what they go to there's no description on any piece in the package and there are no instructions she don't know what goes with what.
