My dog loves squeaky toys and I purchased a giraffe just like this. We ended up having to throw away all of his toys from a sickness he got at the dog park, so I got him one of these to replace the giraffe he loved so much. He fell in love with this toy and still plays with it to this day. The squeakers are in the elephant's feet (all 4 of them) and some of them can break really easily due to being small but some do last for a while. I have four dogs. One is completely in love with his toys. One is so so about them. The two others have no interest. I got this for the so so dog and he liked it, but only in small intervals. He left it for my other toy loving dog, Ed. For him, it was love at first bite. He took it and happily cuddled with it, threw it around, and watched with an adoring look at the flailing arms. I bought this as a gift for my friend's mini dachund and I knew she would love it because of the long legs and how soft it is. She loved it alright. So much that she ripped the ear off in the first 10 minutes of having it. This toy is very poorly made. My 15 lb dog has had it less than a month and had practically torn it apart. The limbs rip out very easily, and today it's an ear. I am still repairing it because it's so new. But I'm getting tired of it.

I think the trunk weirded her out at first, But it has definitely become one of her babies. She likes to groom, and coddle her babies. They aren't toys to her lol this is the one she sleeps with now. She's had 2 piggies in the past. One is no longer with us, thanks to the way I was playing with her, so it wasn't her fault.
