    • Great pole, works well for diving
This pole worked very well for me when I took it Scuba diving in Hawaii. Its extremely sturdy and (so far at least, it hasnt been that long since) it has held up well to the saltwater abuse. Mind you I was very careful to clean it well with freshwater after every use. One thing to note is that when you extend the pole, the interior fills up with water so you need to work it in and out a few times fully submerged in fresh water to really clean it well. On the flip side, it makes an awesome water gun in a pool setting, lol. Extend it under water to fill it up, then point it at your victim and 'collapse it'. ;-) ... show more

I bought this extension pole after purchasing a GoPro Hero Black 7. My intentions are pretty simple - use it while hiking and snowboarding. I might update this review when I get a chance to use it in the wild. First impressions - it’s made really well. I needed something sturdy enough to survive the occasional drop or wipe out. I like the change in dimensions at the very bottom, it feels comfortable. The most underrated part of this piece is the rubber coating. I can already tell that grip won’t be an issue. I recommend spending the extra money on quality by buying the El Grande. ... show more
