  • GREAT TO WALK AROUND HOLDING IT UP HIGH OVER EVERYONE'S HEAD- LIGHT AND STURDY
I bought this Gopro Arm to go on vacation, I knew we were going to be walking everywhere as everyone does in Europe, this Arm did not let me down, it's light and very sturdy, I never used as a tripod so I can answer how good or bad it might be but i can assure you as a selfie stick or walking around stick is pretty awesome. I used this arm with the Gopro remote control and the combination of both was incredibly easy to use. I took video shots that I would have never taken with my regular camera thanks to the extended reach of this stick. ... show more

  • Lightweight.
A must have accessory for any GOPRO user. Makes a great invisible selfie stick if you like to record yourself while walking. You can angle and bend the three sections in multiple ways and turn the simple lock screws to lock everything in place. By screw the base and it reveals a set of screw in tripod legs. The three-way is a versatile must have. It’s a handy grip, a bendable extension, invisible selfie-stick and tripod. What’s more, it folds up small and l ... show more

  • Pretty cheaply made
Pretty cheaply made, but it is worth it because it works well. The material is made of plastic. It is pretty sturdy, however it can become stiff and feel like it is going to break. Pros: 1.) You do not see your arm in your pictures 2.) The grip Cons: 1.) Flimsy 2.) A bit bulky 3.) It is short and not as long Overall, I really love this case. I feel life you want a case in which you will not see the stick or your arm in the picture then this is your "selfie stick" for you. It is definitely not worth the price. ... show more

  • Pricey, but quite useful overall selfie-stick.
This is a great accessory: it's basically a tripod and "selfie stick" built into one, with the tripod legs cleverly hidden inside the handheld shaft (twist and pull out, then screw it back in "reversed" with the legs out)! The product itself is made of rather decent quality plastic, and the handle has a rubberized layer for grip. Screws will tighten enough to not "give" or rattle when you're swinging this arm around (like panning around yourself Matrix-style), and it's light enough to easily handle with one hand and the weight of the GoPro on the far end. The two joints roughly every third of the way (when extended) have good range of motion, but WARNING that you'll have to play around with it to really understand how to adjust it for your various grips (e.g., shooting forward but low-to-ground, shooting yourself from low-to-ground position, standard "selfie stick" position, folded back on itself in a U-shape so the camera is basically hanging under your hand, etc.) The reason is that the joints do not fold back on themselves in BOTH directions. Seems like an obvious statement, but the impact is that in some situations you'll need to mount the GoPro in one direction, and in some situations the opposite way (meaning you have to stop, take it off, put it back on backwards, then re-adjust all the stick joints. Overall, it's a great stick, and I would have given it a full 5 stars if the damned thing weren't so pricey (roughly $60US)!! ... show more

  • I recommend the product!
I was not prety sure about to placing the order for this product due to all the negative comments about. Now, I have used it for one month, and I do not regret or have any complain about the 3 way grip. It is a good product, I dont think it looks cheap or fragile. it is very useful for the ways you can use. and... the tripod is not very stable? yes, it is correct... BUT this is an action camera, not a camera for studio pics... it is supposed to be on your bike, your head, your surf board, etc. I think the tripod is a plus (very useful BTW) if you place it on a flat surface, works great! I definetely recommend this product, its nice, looks elegant and works perfect for the self pictures! IMPORTANT: if you are waiting to receive a LONG arm, you should analyze better. The 3 way grip is not so long as some other products offered for cameras and cellphones. ... show more

  • This is an awesome GoPro handle, Very Versatile
This is the most versatile grip. There is some sticker shock with the price, but even pick up a used version of this if you can't swing the new price, you won't be disappointed. Other extension poles stay long when your not using them. This folds up into a similar size to the floating handle. The tripod is stored inside the handle adding more options to you shooting when you have this. Its great. I held off for many years to buy it with my Hero 4, but when I upgraded to the Hero 6 this was great. ... show more

  • Great quality GoPro selfie stick, even in mineral-rich water!
We bought a GoPro for a trip through Iceland and purchased this for it, mostly to take selfies. We needed something that was good quality and could withstand some abuse because we knew we'd be taking it to and submerging it in the Blue Lagoon, a geothermally-heated natural pool with a very high silica content. We floated and soaked and took gratuitous photos and video of ourselves all day using this and it came out no worse for wear, once we wiped off the white silica residue after it had dried out. The angle points let you configure this so you can hold it and film yourself without your arm being overtly outstretched in the shot, as is typical in most selfies. This was a big plus for us as it made our video look more natural. The knobs also tighten down very well, we used this to shoot a whale watching trip on a speedboat racing across heavy swells and the arms never collapsed. The little tripod on the bottom was hard to separate from it's screw-in holster without feeling like we were about to break it when we tried to pull it off, and be aware that if you adjust the arms or leave any flex in the collapsed grip while you're recording with your GoPro (especially if it's in the completely-enclosed water proof case), you will hear the joints creaking in the video playback. This isn't a fault in the product, that's just the nature of vibration. If you're going to use this and need the cleanest possible audio, either tighten the knobs down REALLY TIGHTLY or buy something more professionally-focused. ... show more
