But better too full than too flat. These have plenty of support, have that feather pillow smoosh that forms up the way you plump it and stays there. I like to put one under my head and one on top of my head and they block out noise and light perfectly. It’s a little too bulky though for side sleeping/arm thrown over one like little spoon. I always sleep on a feather pillow. This pillow has the right amount of stuffing, very important…. The “but” is a curious one., it crinkles like maybe there is a plastic liner between the feathers and pillow case???? It’s weird, but I’m desperate to get used to it bcse I really like the density of this pillow. Update: the “crinkle” plastic noise has seemed to go away! I have one very similar that is that old, but when I have tried to replace it all other down pillows would be too firm no matter how they labeled them.
