    • Contemporary design ceiling light. Does not have junction box. Get an electrician to install safely.

The listing states that "The fixture does not have a traditional USA junction ceiling box. Please use the screws provided by us to install the ceiling light." Frankly, that makes me nervous. I think the building code in my state requires using a junction box for a ceiling light so I need to research this more. I realize that the wattage on this device is very low. Anyway, this installation is best done by someone who understands electrical connections. Other than that, I like the fixture. The listing says it is "iron" but I suspect it is stainless steel. It is not as heavy as iron but it sticks to a magnet. There is an instruction sheet with diagrams. The light came with molded styrofoam around it. It is from China. ... show more
