Great bang for your buck. I was looking for an SP so I could play some old Zelda games and came across this little guy. I’ve never really messed with emulators but it came stocked and ready to go. I recommend getting a new SD card and flash some custom firmware on it for a better user interface. If it doesn’t have the games you are looking for it’s easy to add the ROMs. It’s not very powerful so if you’re looking to play anything with a higher frame rate like PlayStation or some DS games, it would be a good idea to find a more powerful unit. Battery isn’t great for more than a few hours but it’s really more of a pick up and play when you have some downtime. You can always pick up some spares, they’re just a few bucks and you can keep on hand.

The device itself is pretty decent quality, but the shell has an interesting texture. The display isn't bad, and looks really good at it's size. The overall performance is pretty good, but I ended up upgrading to a better sd card and an alternative software for it. The console plays up to ps1 games but struggles with some on that console. After test all the other consoles, I have yet to run into any issues while using the new firmware (MIYOO), and the console is a lot of fun. I purchased it from Amazon because I have prime, and because it had way faster shipping. The alternative AliExpress is cheaper, but will likely take a lot longer to arrive. Highly recommend this one.

$40 for this is a steal. I take it to work for my breaks and it has not given any trouble at all. Just make sure to shut it down properly and I recommend a new sd with a new menu. Took like 30 min to setup with a Pokémon game legally and it was my first time working with an emulator.

I don't think there's a better option for this price point currently. It does nothing terribly well and the screen/speakers are average at best. However it plays gameboy and gba games perfectly. It's also cheap enough that you're not terribly worried about taking it with you in a bag. Just toss it in and go about your day.

I viewed several review videos before ordering the device and everyone seemed to have a good experience and that’s why I ordered. When I first turned it on, I was happy with the quality of the screen. The video was very sharp and the colors were very vivid and bright. But after playing with it I noticed that since the screen either had to be stretched or expanded the quality was really not that great. I tried playing TLOZ -The Minish Cap and you couldn’t read the writing on the screen. I tried adjusting the screen size and aspect ratio but the only way to make the writing legible was to shrink the screen to it’s original size which was way to small to enjoy. I upgraded the OS thinking it would help but it didn’t, not to mention that it was a hassle performing the OS upgrade. I tried several titles on other emulators and most of the games crashed leaving me with the option to reset the device. I ended up returning the unit even though the only reason I got for was to play GBA games but I got disappointed with the experience and just returned it. It might have been a glitchy unit and other people may have better luck but I just didn’t want to reorder a new one.

Do not buy these, we ordered two for my daughters for Christmas, they both worked once after turning it on, then never started again bright and early on Christmas morning. Worst gift we have ever gotten for them, learned our lesson, get a more expensive emulator and don’t make the same mistake we did.

Nice little handheld. But some drawbacks. First off, they sent me a system with a bloated battery. I noticed it right away when the battery compartment wasn’t closed properly. I ordered a replacement battery and the difference was clear right away. Second the plastic just feels cheap. The buttons are responsive and work properly. The system feels nice in your hands but you get what you pay for. The big plus is the screen is nice and bright. I have an Anbernic rg350 and a Bittboy pocket go as well and I like the screen the best on this one. There are some upgrades available if you look on YouTube but I haven’t installed them just yet. I would say it’s a good starter handheld for the money.

This little thing is amazing I’m still so shocked at how much you get for such a cheap price. This is a Powkiddy V90 and it can emulate everything up to PS1. A few quick YouTube guides will show you how to set this thing up to get the most out of it. I had it all set up within 10 minutes (the longest part is downloading all the games you want) you can also just use the games on hand right out of the box (tons of amazing games for those who just want to play right out of the box). Best handheld to get into emulation/modding.
