  • Good deal for the price
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: LTE
I bought 3 Pixel Watch 1 units for my family. After 4 months of daily use, I can say all of them work very well. The main issue is the short battery life. I usually charge it in the morning for about 1–1.5 hours, which takes it from 10–20% up to 80–90%. It lasts through the day, but Google really needs to improve battery life in future versions (minimum 7 days expected). ✅ Pros: Stylish and comfortable for daily wear. All my family members like it. Great sleep monitoring. Excellent for sports: I train 5 days a week (1.5h cycling + 20–50 minutes outdoor gym) and it tracks everything accurately. Comes with 6 months of Fitbit Premium free trial. ❌ Cons: Battery life is too short. Fitbit Premium is expensive and not really practical, so I won’t continue after the free period. ... show more

  • Nice watch
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: LTE
Update: The battery life on this is terrible. Barely could go a whole day on one charge. I don't use all of the features so I just shut off all the things I don't need. I also turned off the tilt to wake feature and it seems to have helped. I got it for the price and because my other Fitbit was dying, I don't need all the fancy things on it so this is still a pretty good value for my needs. So far so good. Huge upgrade from my Fitbit inspire for a great price. Looks even better in person. Took a bit to navigate and had to move my Fitbit account to Google but so far so good. ... show more

  • UPDATE - If you want to die, fall while wearing this watch. EPIC FAILURE
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: LTE
OCTOBER 2024 Mom was wearing her watch, and FELL. I mean she fell HARD. And guess what?! The watch fall detection failed to detect a thing. Thankfully I was there and I was able to get the help she needed, no thanks to Google. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product at all. She'd be better off with the freaking "I've fallen and I can't get up" thing from the 80s. What a pathetic joke this Google watch is. JULY 2023 After setting up dozens of Android phones & FitBit devices, I feel like a reasonably experienced user with decent RTFM skills if the need arises. But this watch -- what a joke so far. I bought this for Mom. So as the dutiful kid, I took it to her and set it up for her. No instructions so I had to use the Google machine and the FitBit site to get answers. Normally everything is so obvious that no instructions are needed, but in this case, with the device being totally new to me, I had to find some answers. For the price, this thing should: 1) Be plug & play -- because octagenarians can't see the small print, or navigate the screen without help 2) Come with a USB C adapter -- because octagenarians don't have USB C charging bricks laying around 3) Have more than a 24 hour battery life -- because octagenarians can't always remember to charge the device every day 4) Update immediatly -- because the octagenarian's kid can't go back ever 2 hours to see if a new push has been sent to the phone / app / watch. See below for what I mean about the updates. See a theme here? This thing has "GREAT" potential, but so far ain't livin' up to it. The fall detection --the reason for buying this thing-- doesn't appear. It's supposed to be something I can set up on the phone app OR the watch. The option appears on NEITHER device. The FitBit support page says, "Wait 2-3 days and it may show up. If it doesn't, reach back out for support..." Is that really the best support you can give? Either the watch works or it doesn't. But sure enough, the next day more features became suddenly available. Of course, not the feature I wanted ... so I have to wait another day or two to see if it appears. I bought this because I don't want to have to train Mom on how to use an iOS device but wanted the fall detection and about half of the other features this watch provides. To my disgust, I may need to find another solution. I really don't want to teach her how to use an iOS device, but I've never heard of any Apple watch users having this nonsense happen. Their products just work. And it pains me to say that since I love Android.... but I'm questioning my loyalty. If the Google watch suddenly updates and lives up to expectations, I'll update this review, but as of today, I am incredibly disappointed. ... show more

  • Oldie but a Goodie!!!
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: LTE
This watch far exceeds my expectations. Okay, let me explain...I'm an old woman. Lol. Me and tech don't get along well. So, I thought I would order a Generation 1, (it wouldn't be as smart) YES! I bought a gen 1 in 2026. Lol. I was surprised at how easy it was to set up and use. I love it!!! I'm not sure what the newest Gen watch would do....but, this one does everything I want it to do and more. When I ordered it I didn't think I could talk and text on it . The first call I got on it scared the crap out of me 🤣🤣. This watch is as functional as I need. It connects to my fitness app and tracks my heart rate, steps and more. I love it! ... show more

The new in box Pixel works great. The only draw back is the battery life. It last just about 24 hours. So if you want to try rack your sleep, you should charge it fully prior to sleeping to give you an accurate reading. I now get into the habit of charging it at dinner time and then placing it on my wrist just after I shower and go to sleep. The alarm wakes me up at the desired time. One feature I like is that if my phone is in another room, I can take a phone call, like Dick Tracy, without having to rush to pick up the phone. I can even see the weather maps based on my location with Google's new map app ... show more

Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: LTE
I've had this watch for over a year now .....It does too much for what I wanted it for. I liked my fitbit better and my fitbit lasted longer. The battery life on this is not that great and the watch gets really hot after changing so I can't even put it on right away. Also the adhesive wore off and the back of my watch just popped off recently.....i wouldnt recommend it. ... show more

  • My first experience with a smart watch/fitness tracker...
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: LTE
I am writing this as a novice smart watch wearer who was looking for something to wear during runs to replace my very OLD Garmin watch and no-longer-supported Shuffle. I tried running and walking with my phone and with different other devices to replace them after they were no longer viable running companions, but I decided to cave when I found a reasonable price on a "used like new" Pixel watch option. First off, buying used was great for me. The quality really was "like new," and everything was in the box. It was also more comfortable to know that I didn't pay full price as I entered into the somewhat confusing territory of setup -- during which the watch didn't want to connect to my phone and then didn't want to download updates. (See the other reviewer here who describes getting the phone to connect to the watch, and I honestly couldn't get the first two updates to download until I had LTE connected and turned off bluetooth and wi-fi.) There's still much room for improvement in the phone and watch management interfaces, but I don't have anything to compare it to other than my continual wonder, "Why didn't they do it [this way]???" The battery is good as long as you don't actually use it for anything other than being a watch and lightweight fitness tracker. An hour-long run or walk using GPS with Fitbit or Strava AND listening to anything that isn't downloaded (a whole different discussion) easily zaps 50-60% (or more) of battery -- which isn't a big deal if you can figure out a reasonable charging schedule. That said, using the Google charger that came with it, mine normally charges from 9% to 100% in around an hour. As for the other features, I am surprised by how much I appreciate the fitness tracking. I didn't think I would care anything about my heart rate or how many steps in a day, but I tend to sit at my computer for periods that are entirely too long and like the reminder that hours have passed since getting up to move. I also like being able to look at my watch to see who is calling or to receive texts, especially when I'm finally *not* at my desk and don't want to have to carry my phone with me when I'm expecting a call or text. Disconnecting is also somewhat easy, since you can manage what notifications the watch receives from the phone app. (Though I do seem to have to reset these with ever phone-app update.) ... show more
