I bought a Goodman furnace, ac condenser, coil, and thermal expansion valve here after finding the same prices on the exact same equipment on all of the online sites. I thought as a long-time Prime member and making many, many purchases that the Prime membership would be a benefit if there were any problems. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT TRUE!!! First, we did not need the TXV which cost over $100. When I went to return it, I was told that it was unreturnable because it contained a compressed gas, apparently in the sealed sensing bulb. But I just received it in the mail??? So I eat the cost of a useless piece of equipment - not much a typical consumer can do with a TXV! Second, we found that the $625 Coil was over 30" tall when we opened the box. Wayyy too tall for our installation. So return it and get a shorter one, right? Well, in processing the return I find that I will have to pay the return shipping. No big deal, I don't like it, but what, maybe $50? No way! Checking USPS, UPS, and FedEx the cheapest is $360!!! This is not a huge box - maybe 24"x24"x30" - and maybe twenty-five pounds. So I have no option but to pay the $360 and send it. Finally, after a week, I receive a notice that they received the shipment and they charge me a 10% ($63) "restocking" fee. Although we know it was never "stocked" anyway since all this stuff is drop shipped from the manufacturer. Just an "additional overcharge" as Putty said. If any good comes from this nightmare, it will be stopping anyone from ever ordering here so they don't get screwed as I have. Forget that Prime membership - it is worth nothing. ... show more

I installed this and a coil on my existing heat exchanger air handler. Works fantastic. Keeps the house perfectly cool. I'm in the Central Valley of California. Hot, Hot, Hot outside. You practically die without AC around here. I hired an AC technician to vacuum the lines for me. Didn't want to mess with it. Both units came on one pallet in perfect condition delivered by a freight truck with a lift gate. The driver put the pallet in my garage. Delivery was very fast... within the week I had my order. I have several rental units and will be using them again. Thanks for saving me a bundle ... show more

I bought this Goodman condenser for a month, for some reasons , I just finished install and made it full functionality . It runs very good , the noise is lower than I was thought. Plus,I bought another evaporator coil with TXV, works perfect with R410A refrigerant. This is for my up level zone of my house, I will replace down floor zone with Goodman, later. The only things I don't know is: R410a was pre-charged inside compressor. The HVAC tech trying to charge it, he found the pressure was too high. Then he realized it was manufacture pre-made . Great products, love it. One more thing, if you try to brazing, use acetylene torch, not use propane torch. Because with pre-charged refrigerant , propane torch hardly make it hot. ... show more

I bought it last year at the end of the 2018 summer season, and decided to have it installed this year(2019)....got it installed in March and have used it a few times as it did get hot in NJ to trigger it. I did go from 13 seer to 16 seer... My coil is a 2.5 ton coil, so I believe I am good on that front. So far it has been working extremely well and the house is cooler quicker and we have had no issues. ... show more
