We do a fair amount of travelling and staying in hotels with our two dogs. We have in the past just tossed all our dogs' supplies in one of those reusable non-woven cloth bags you use for grocery shopping, and while they get the job done, stuff falls out, the dogs can get into them at the hotel, and inevitably they wear out pretty quickly. Also, if you pack your dogs' favorite blankets in with your own luggage, you quickly wind up with dog smelling luggage - yuck! This bag is a serious upgrade to that! There was an option a bag that's also a pet carrier, but obviously we didn't need that (we have two very large dogs!). We got the bag that is strictly for carrying supplies. I love that there are a couple of smaller containers that go inside. Obviously, you could use this for pet food if you're travelling with smaller animals, but these will be great for keeping smaller items rounded up instead of falling to the very bottom of the larger bag - great for organization on longer trips! All of the zippers seem very sturdy, and overall the construction and materials used to make the set are very sturdy. I really like that the exterior has a somewhat bold but overall dark floral pattern - it's not really my 'style' but it will hide the inevitable stains and scuffs that come with use, so this set will look nice for a long time (or a lot of miles). The interior of the larger bag is pretty spacious, even with both smaller bags stuffed full and placed inside. There's still room for a couple of thick dog blankets and bigger toys, and the exterior of the bag has plenty of smaller pockets to tuck little items and necessities into. It's got two 'poop bag' pockets, one on each end - I don't know that I'll ever need /that/ many poop bags handy at once, but it's a nice feature and you can always use the pockets for something else. The over the shoulder strap is detachable, and is nice and wide, making it easier on the shoulder when I'm hauling all of my luggage into the hotel at once because I'm one of THOSE people who refuse to make multiple trips back and forth to the vehicle. ... show more

We take our dogs out often on trips, car rides and even long walks. In cases where we need extra storage for a couple days of food, water, treats and everything else for our dogs, this pack of bags is perfect. The bags have airtight containers for food that might spoil. The bags are perfect sized, good quality, and we've been using them for 2-4 days trips that need dog supplies. At first I thought this was too big, but the two food containers (I call them "lunchboxes") take up about half the space, leaving plenty of room for toys, bowls, brush, etc. Both ends can be used for poop bags (that's a lot of bags!). The front pocket can fold down, it has mesh compartments, would be good for smaller items like nail clippers, etc. Front pocket has a double zipper, as does the top (love having double zippers). It's well constructed, stands up on its own very well - it has a lightweight board that goes in the bottom that helps it keep its shape. The outside fabric and the lining are good, there's a little bit of padding all around too. The divider is easily removable. There are small handles on each end to clip on the shoulder strap, which has a slightly padded part that makes carrying it a little easier on your shoulder. The elastic cord on the top -- to hold a blanket, towel, etc. -- is adjustable so it can be tightened to keep things secure. It even has one of those luggage handle things so you can slip it over the top of your luggage. I think this is a great value, considering that you're getting the big bag and the two food containers. Great for when you travel with your pet, or when you have to take your pet to stay with someone while you're traveling. Good to have it at the ready as a standby emergency bag (i.e., stash a few cans of food in there and add kibble to the containers, and anything else, if/when you actually have to use it in an emergency). We always had severe river floods and winter storms but extreme weather events have gotten worse lately. Because all of my cats need meds and other medical treatments, I knew I had to have a plan and prepare a “grab-and-go” emergency bag for them. I got this travel bag and I’m glad that I got a large one. This bag pretty much took care of everything I needed. As you can see in my photo, I put a 5 lb bag of dry food, two 1000 ml fluid bags and spikes, a few pee pads, and two separate bags to put cans, meds, and other small stuff and it still has room!!! And you can also section the inside out using the dividers. I’m trying not to put too much in it because I know I’d be carrying all three cats and this bag and perhaps run when we have to evacuate. My favorite part is the side poop bag dispenser. It sounds silly but I love it! And front pockets have inside pockets and you can also slide something like a roll of blanket or an extra small container bag or two like I did on the top. The straps feel good. The bag is waterproof. Although I hope I don’t have to use this unless we’re going on a long road trip, I love this bag and I’m so glad that I found this. ... show more
