I have a king that is insanely heavy, so I was worried about any platform bed frame because they are usually made with wood slates. This one is perfect. All metal and sturdy. I've slept on it for a couple weeks already and solid as a rock. I LOVE how high it is. This leaves so much space underneath for storage. My plastic totes that were taking up my closet are now under the bed! Our mattress is quite high as well so there is a little jump needed to get into bed lol Only complain I have is that my mattress slides very easily over it since the metal doesn't have texture like wood slabs do. I'm constantly moving the mattress back on place when I lean on it to put socks or something on. I'll need to find something to place between the frame and mattress in hopes of keeping it from sliding around. Overall, love it! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Unless you are spending a lot of $ you don’t get good quality but I love this, I am a little over 200pds and hubby is 195pds. It does not make noise and it stays in place. I was able to put stackable shoe bins under the bed hubby and I have a lot of shoes we recently moved but don’t have the space we use to have so the space under is a plus. ... show more

Saying the quiet part out loud: it does make a little noise when you're doing anything vigorous in bed. It was also sort of hard to put in the slats/cross beams. Consider bringing a rubber mallet to tap them into place... or a bodybuilder to force them in. The king size is a little unwieldy to keep upright while you're working, so this was definitely a 2-person job for us. Otherwise, it's just a bedframe. ... show more
