When I saw this, my sister had just expressed interest in learning golf with her husband. I'm a huge fan of practicing more than playing and I enjoy all the different devices that can help or hurt your game. I took a few weeks off and bought a new driver at the end of that. I was having major alignment issues due to some new instructions I received from a PGA Pro when I bought my driver. Needless to say, I wanted something that provided a good visual guide to where I should be so there was no more guessing or playing with 1/2" increments to get it right. The mat is actually really nice. Sometimes you get super thin fabric that won't stay flat or it flows away, but this is a material just like a mousepad. It stays in place nicely when you're lining up with it. I really like the ball position points when trying to show someone new to golf as well since the natural tendency is to put it right in the middle. The cutouts are good for visual cues as well. They won't necessarily fit your shoes, but the actual rounded cut is an extra bit of information to make sure you're set. I had my sister, who had never swung a golf club a millisecond in her life use it and she made pure contact and elevated the ball nicely. It did its job. She didn't hit the ground or top it, so I count that as a win. I keep this in a storage box at my golf net in the backyard and if I'm feeling off, or I'm trying a new club out, I'll pull it out and use it for 5-10 swings, just to recalibrate. it's a great tool and easily stored.

This Golf Training Mat has been a helpful tool for dialing in my stance and improving my posture at setup. I use it by setting up a ball and practicing how to position my feet correctly based on the club I’m using. It’s a simple but effective aid that’s made it easier for me to consistently align myself to the ball. I do think it helps to have some basic understanding of golf stance fundamentals to get the most out of it. I’ve found that stepping in and out of the stance repeatedly helps build muscle memory for proper foot placement. It’s especially useful when I don’t have time for a lesson or can’t make it to the range. I can use it at home for quick practice, or even bring it to the range to reinforce good habits. Overall, a solid tool for beginners or anyone looking to fine-tune their stance.

Like through it's carrying case, through the plastic bag the carrying case was sealed in, and through the box it was shipped in. Made my eyes water. It's hanging out in the garage right now. Hopefully the smell will go away in a few days. I don't know if it works, probably does help with setting up a shot. I won't know if the smell doesn't leave.

We got this to help my son as he learns golf, but found it helpful for myself in relearning my own golf swing dynamics. My daughter has also used it as well. It is very handy tool and easy to use. Just line up your feet according to the club your are using and practice your swing to get the foot placement down so it becomes second nature rather than something you have to think of as you line up on the ball. Highly recommend it

I am a right handed golfer. I looked everywhere in the description to see if was for left or right handed golfer. The best I could find was a comment from a previous buyer that said it's not for left handed golfers. I decided to buy, and of course I get a mat made for lefty. There is not a selection to pick you preference. I will be returning. It is a nice looking mat, however
