First, this was packed well and easy to assemble. This golf clubhead removal tool turned out to be more solid than I expected. It’s built well and holds the shaft steady when clamped into a vise, which made removing a clubhead much easier and safer. No slipping, no twisting — just a secure hold that let me focus on heating the ferrule and pulling the head without worrying about damaging the shaft. The material feels durable and handled some pressure without cracking or warping. It’s one of those tools that’s pretty basic, but does exactly what you need it to do when you're working on your own clubs. Not a flashy tool, but very practical.     • It's nice, but...
This is a nice puller. I do golf club repair on the side, and currently use a GolfWorks puller. This unit is a little more sturdy. Build quality is good, grip is strong, and is does what it is supposed to. It is a little more compact than the GolfWorks puller, but the GolfWorks puller can pull more heads off before resetting the horizontal pull screw. For the price, it's a toss-up performance-wise, but GolfWorks has a lot of spare parts and rebuild parts- like the rubber liner for the shaft holder, as they're only good for so many pulls. So, I'd go with the GolfWorks if it was between the 2 of these. ... show more
