We use as wind blocker and sun shade which works great, It's made darn tough so it can survive the windstorms which we have a lot of year round and intense desert sun that makes everything very hot to touch and will wilt your flower beds in a couple of hours, It also works great for privacy when the girls are sun bathing and when you got nosey neighbors. It's super easy to put up and comes with strong zip ties so it does stay in place, Or if you're like me and like to move it around and even take on outings just get some looped bag ties and it's easy up & down or a roll of tie wire to use on trees for when camping or picnics. This works perfectly as a way to keep the deer out of my garden - if they can't see it they won't jump over, and the 6' height is a deterrent as well. I also like that it allows airflow through the fabric. Because my garden is visible to the street, I use this to hide the view from neighbors who don't want to see a non-landscaped yard. I put landscaping in front of it and it looks nice enough to satisfy everyone. I wrapped this around my lanai to try and block some of the excessive winds I get where I live. It wrapped around easily and I could do it myself since there are so many grommets along the edges. I just attached one at a time and worked my way around. It was too long, so I cut off one end with scissors and added some clips to funnel a rope through to hold it on the one end. Worked like a charm. The force of the wind was lessened and there was still some air movement. I'm hoping that because it has the large number of places to attach it that it'll last longer than the ones I've tried before where the wind caused so much abrasion to the ropes that were on the corners that they just snapped, in less than 6 months. When I was first unraveling this screen I thought it was much smaller than expected, it was just folded up oddly. The mesh is woven very tightly. Keep that in mind when you go to install this. There was barely a breeze and we were fighting to get it secured. It comes with much nicer zip ties than other screens I've used.
