I have bought many very expensive lighters, none of which provided the value that these little gems do. Extremely reliable and durable. Have dropped them in a hot tub, a pool and a snow pike and after drying out, they continue to work. At the cost, if you lose it, it's no big deal, just order another. . . not like when you lose a $50+ lighter. No need to look at others. Order at least 2 so you have a spare.

I tried the type with the removable "BIC" lighter. The soft rubber tube that connects the resorvor to the torch split making that type unusable & a poor design. This torch is solidly built, more cost-effective, & is reliable. I am using it in craft projects with paracord. I highly recommend this supplier & the butane torch. I like the ability to adjust the flame size & type. I will probably only use a small jet flame, since it will be easy to control when melting the ends of the paracord.

Love this little lighter it looks so classy and is easy to use. Only thing I was disappointed about was that it needed a key to change the flame and it didn’t come with it.

I use this torch mostly to light my pipe while Im driving. It's adjustable, but you can give it a quick shot while the window is open and it will light. It feels great and is well made and the best torch lighter you can get - it's usually around $10-12. It will eventually wear out - I got six months out of one and 1-2 years out of others. I've purchased this model 8-10 times and replace them when I lose them, leave them in a rental or have TSA take one away from me - even though they say you can have a lighter.

My first impression is very positive. The lighter has a nice weight. It feels solid and well made. I got the black which looks nice and it has a textures surface which helps out when holding it. It has a smooth and easy trigger pull. It is easy to tell how much fuel is in it when fueling up, The dual flame option is interesting, and like other reviewers has stated, it requires you to start with the torch flame then switch to normal flame. Overall, I think that the description is accurate, I will probably buy another one or two.

So far it’s junk! Won’t light. And yes I have several butane lighters they all pretty much work the same. Returning and ordered another one, we’ll see! OK, I got the second one and it worked fine! It’s a little awkward, but it’s a good lighter

****UPDATE: I FOUND BEST WAY TO USE SOFT FLAME IS TO, FIRST LIGHT UP IN TORCH MODE AND WHILE TORCH FLAME IS LIT, SLIDE BUTTON OVER TO SOFT FLAME. MAKE SURE YOURE ON TORCH MODE FIRST THOUGH WHEN YOU BEGIN. HOPE THAT MAKES SENSE. IF IT STILL DOESNT LIGHT THEN TRY STEPS BELOW. VVVVV I FOUND THAT THE SOFT FLAME WORKED BETTER ONCE I RELEASED ALL PRESSURE FROM THE REFILL VALVE USING A TOOTH PICK OR REALLY SMALL GLASSES SCREW DRIVER, THEN FILLING IT WITH BUTANE AFTER THE TANK WAS COMPLETELY FREE OF AIR AND PRESSURE. ****ALSO, IT SEEMS THE SOFT FLAME ONLY WORKS AFTER USING THE TORCH FLAME FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS THEN SWITCHING IT TO SOFT FLAME. TRY IT IF YOUR HAVING ISDUES WITH SOFT FLAME. OR IF YOU FOUND ANOTHER TRICK FOR THE SOFT FLAME PLEASE SHARE. WISH THERE WAS NO ISSUE LIKE THIS FOR THE SOFT FLAME OTHERWISE IT WOULD BE THE BEST EVER.
