  • High-quality, heavy-duty airline that stays exactly where you put it!
If you have ever tried to use cheap, standard vinyl tubing for a pond aerator, you know the absolute nightmare of trying to weigh it down with bricks or zip-ties only to have it kink, twist, and float right back to the surface. This Goldlife 100ft weighted hose is worth every single penny and solves all of those headaches instantly. The Pros: True Self-Sinking Weight: At roughly 14 lbs for the 100-foot roll, this PVC tubing has excellent heft. As you unroll it into the water, it sinks naturally and sits perfectly flat along the pond bottom without needing any extra weights or anchors. Flexible and Kink-Resistant: Despite being thick and heavy-duty, the PVC is remarkably supple. It handles bends and wraps around shoreline rocks beautifully without crimping or pinching off your compressor's airflow. Complete, Premium Hardware Kit: The inclusion of heavy-duty copper menders (both straight and 3-way) along with stainless steel hose clamps is a massive plus. The fittings create a rock-solid, airtight seal that won’t rust or blow apart under pressure. Fish & Wildlife Safe: It's made of a non-toxic compound, which gives great peace of mind if you are running this in a pond stocked with fish, plants, or visited by dogs and wildlife. The Cons/Tips for Installation: Uncoil it in the Sun First: Because it comes tightly wound in a 14-pound coil, it retains some memory right out of the box. Lay it out straight on the grass in the sun for 20–30 minutes before installing. The warmth softens up the PVC, making it completely straight and incredibly easy to work with. The Verdict: Whether you are extending a line from your shore compressor or setting up a brand-new multi-diffuser system, this kit is professional-grade. The smooth inner bore maximizes airflow, and the heavy-duty outer wall ensures it will handle freezing winters and hot summers without splitting. It makes a tedious pond project simple. • This Hose Didn’t Just Sink — It Dominated My Pond
If pond hoses had a heavyweight division, this Goldlife Self‑Sinking Aeration Hose would be the reigning champ. The moment I picked it up, I knew this wasn’t one of those flimsy, float‑happy hoses that spend their entire existence trying to escape to the surface like they’re reenacting Finding Nemo. No — this thing sinks with purpose. With confidence. With the energy of a hose that knows exactly where it belongs: at the bottom of a pond doing its job without drama. My old hose? Bless its brittle little heart. After years of service, it had the flexibility of a stale pretzel and the durability of a dollar‑store jump rope. This new one made it look like a relic from the “before times.” The Goldlife kit comes loaded: 4 copper straight menders 2 copper 3‑way connectors 8 stainless steel clamps Which is perfect, because I lose clamps the way normal people lose pens. I do wish it came with a couple of T‑connectors so I could branch off like a pond‑aeration octopus, but that’s an easy add‑on. Now, here’s the plot twist: I’m being forced to move thanks to an eminent‑domain highway project. Not exactly my dream scenario, but the upside is I get to build a brand‑new koi pond from scratch. And this hose? Oh, it’s coming with me like a loyal sidekick in a pond‑building buddy movie. For context, our current pond is no kiddie pool — 4.5 feet deep, 22 feet long, 9 feet wide, plus two bogs (6x12 each) and waterfalls. I’ve been around enough aeration gear to know what’s junk and what’s built to last. This hose is the real deal. Heavy‑duty rubber, thick‑walled, kink‑resistant, temperature‑proof from “Arctic expedition” to “Sahara afternoon,” and fish‑friendly to boot. It works for aerators and fountains, which is perfect because I run both. Once the new pond is built, this hose is going right back to work like it never missed a beat. Bottom line: Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Do I hope I have to? Absolutely not. This hose feels like it’ll outlive me, the pond, and possibly the highway they’re bulldozing my house for. If you want a hose that sinks, stays put, and doesn’t act like it’s auditioning for a float parade, this is the one. ... show more

  • Busted in no time
The tubing is trash. Don't waste your money. It burst within 5 minutes of running on both sides of the pump. It was on THEIR brand of pump also. I cut out the bad part and tried again, it just burst again in no time. Just go buy some 3/8 rubber air compressor hose from Lowe's and cut the ends off. It will actually sink and is not going to burst on you. ... show more

  • FINALLY FOUND THE ONE!!! BEST EVER!!!
Incredibly high quality, and the most durable I’ve had BY FAR! We have a large Koi pond with a 12’ wide X 10’ high waterfall feature and pretty elaborate filtering system with UV filtering and large oxygenator/bubbler that doubles as the vacuum for the filtration system. We’re in the process of rebuilding to stop some leaks in waterfall and make it a bit smaller overall. The downsize is finally complete and waterfall is in process. Why am I telling you all this(?), well because this large bubbler with imbedded vac has a 3” diameter flex PVC hose attached to it for the vac, and also requires an input line for the 12” diameter bubbler. As we’ve rebuilt and made the overall diameter of pond smaller, it’s been a nightmare solving the airline issue (for years), and I finally found the right product. We couldn’t just run into the side like a pool because it’s just a giant hole in the ground with rubber liner and any holes no matter how much you think can be sealed, cannot (even with flex seal tape (LOL - joke). The depth of the pond is 5ft at center and ~20’ away from the pumps, airline compressor and all filtration to the vac input at center, and there is about 8ft of rocks leading to the edge of pond which requires an airline that is incredibly heavy duty, still keeps the appropriate inner diameter, stay virtually invisible under water, and does NOT float. That’s where this hose line comes in and checks ALL the boxes. First time we’ve found one that actually does what it says (sinks) AND is virtually indestructible (think minks, walking on it under rocks, etc.). We’ve had this pond & waterfall for nearly 20-years and have tried all the tricks trying to keep the line both hidden and along the bottom. Whether zip tying to the 3” line or trying to cover it with rocks or even ugly cinder blocks it’s never lasted more than a few days. I knew when I received THIS immediately it was finally THE ONE!! Enough like to replace again in a few YEARS (minimum). Long story short, this is what I needed all along and he amount of money I’ve spent on subpar equipment is mind blowing compared to how inexpensive this is in comparison. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! • Perfect for Pond Aeration Projects
I picked this up for a pond project on our hunting property and have been very pleased with it so far. The biggest advantage is that the hose actually sinks and stays where you put it instead of constantly floating back to the surface. The tubing feels durable and flexible without kinking, and the included fittings and clamps made installation straightforward. Having a full 100 feet of hose gave me plenty of flexibility to route everything exactly where I wanted it. Once connected, airflow was excellent and the hose stayed hidden along the bottom of the pond. It looks much cleaner than trying to weigh down standard airline tubing with rocks or other makeshift solutions. Overall, this is a well-made aeration hose kit that does exactly what it claims. If you're setting up or upgrading a pond aeration system, this is a solid choice that makes installation much easier. ... show more

  • Good aeration kit, but the hose is the weak spot
I needed more aeration in a backyard pond that gets pretty still by late afternoon, so I put this kit in over the weekend. Setup was fairly straightforward. It comes with the connectors and clamps, and I had air moving in under an hour without having to hunt down extra parts. In use, it does what it is supposed to do. The airflow was strong enough to get noticeable movement in the water, and after a few days the pond smelled less stagnant and the fish were hanging around the bubbled area more. The hose is flexible and the 100 foot length gives you room to route it where you need it. One thing I noticed right away is the tubing feels lighter and a little flimsier than I expected for something advertised as self sinking. That is really the tradeoff here. The aeration side is solid, and it feels like a good value since you get a long run of hose plus menders and clamps. But the hose did not stay down on its own in every section of my pond, so I had to help it a little. The hose may be a weak point, so that is worth keeping an eye on if you are running higher pressure. I landed at 4 stars because it works well, setup is easy, and the kit is useful, but the hose is not as weighted as the listing makes it sound. ... show more

  • Great quality housing great for a pond or a large fish tank
This housing is of really good quality. I am very impressed with this. It seems like it is going to be able to withstand a lot of use for a long time and not degrade. I also like the fact that this comes with so many different attachments and pieces so that you’re able to adjust it to your needs the amount of hosing that you get is also a big plus because you do get quite a bit we are planning on making a pond in our backyard and we will be using this in that pond. We also have fish tanks so we are going to be able to use this for a lot of stuff. I am really excited to be able to use this housing. I would highly recommend this if you’re looking for a great quality of housing. I am really excited to be able to use this housing.
