I live in Wisconsin, and as a millennial have experienced quite a few (read too many) winters at this point. At my part of the northern hemisphere, picking out a winter coat is an expensive, and sometimes frustrating experience. They are expensive, hot to try on, and you’re going to be cold if you want one remotely flattering. So - I’m not telling you that you’ll look or feel like a hallmark channel actress in this coat, but it’s a puffer jacket…it’s puffy. As a puffer jacket, it’s nice and light. Winter (mercifully) hasn’t descended on us yet, but I figure this baby should hold up to *most* of the weather coming our way. I would not expect it to be for the rugged forest adventurer, as this material is the type to tear if snagged on some poky trees or brush. But for your every day coat, should do great. The thing that makes this coat different from others of this style is the room in the shoulders and armpits. There is actually room for having on bulky sweaters under your coat without feeling like a a toddler in the 90’s trying to move their arms in those old snow suits. I HATE, and I cannot capitalize this that enough, how winter coats are so restrictive in the shoulders and upper arms that only a long sleeve teeshirt feels comfortable under one. I often skip a winter coat altogether and use big scarves and accessories for errands, church, ect. Otherwise I feel to restricted and almost claustrophobic trapped in my coat. I have a big tummy and small everything else. If I can zip my gut in, I should be able to move my shoulders darn it! Well, that’s where this coat shines. I thank the designers for building in space for winter weight clothes under a coat. Size-wise I ordered one size above what I call my “China-size”. If I’m buying a shirt off of Temu I order a size 2x, whereas in the US I’m a Walmart XL, and 18 dress size. I ordered the coat in a 3x and can just comfortably close the zipper over a sweater, which is perfect. Overall I highly recommend this winter coat to all my similarly winter-worn-down ladies of the North!

I have other puffer jackets, and I like them, but I think this will be my favorite for really cold days. It's made to keep you toasty warm while keeping you comfortable, and it's also a stylish coat that fits. I'm 5'8", 119 pounds, and it fits me perfectly in a medium. The sleeves are just the right length, and the body is, too. It has a double zipper just inside the snap buttons in the front. Both the zipper and the buttons keep it together firmly to keep the heat in. I love the faux fur lined removable hood which attaches with a zipper, and the jacket itself is also lined in soft faux fur. When zipped all the way up, the neck is just the right size, not too tight or too loose so that you can still move your head comfortably. This puffer just has all the things you would look for in a nice every day winter coat, and it's available in several attractive colors. I chose the dark grey, and I like it, but the other colors are very appealing, especially that alluring purple! If you're in the market for a warm winter coat that's comfortable and attractive, I highly recommend this one!

I’m living in NY and the temperature was dropping down to 11 degrees. I needed to replace my older puffer coat. I am 5ft 3in tall, 140lbs. I ordered the Navy blue in medium. The coat is a little snug since I was layering with another jacket but it fits nice. It has the same slim waist look as the photo, but that’s why it may be a little snug if you layer, so go a size up if you want it loose. The coat is very warm and thick. The color is true to the photos. The front has two deep open pockets and two side zipper pockets, all are large and deep enough for phones and wallets. Plus there are inside pockets. The coat is waterproof to an extent. The hood is very big and the fur around looks very nice. I would definitely recommend and would buy again.
