The size is perfect for which is a large. The arm length is not too short or long and it is not tight if you want it kind of fitted. For women who have an upper larger area, I would say get the same size for perfect fit and more room, go up a size. I wear a large and medium in shirts and that’s what I got is a large coat. This is waterproof .I actually love this jacket. It is one of the best jackets I ever purchased, especially online and not trying it on. It is very important people post about the sizing of a product. I went by that in deciding. I wear a large, usually, and this coat fit perfect. The length, the fit, the length of sleeves. Loved everything. Has a tie for the waist to keep cold air out. It was about 6 degrees out there and I was really warm with just a regular sweater . The only thing I can complain about is there was no tie for the hood to tighten it up. LOVE this jacket. And the price is awesome. I will be ordering another in a different color. ... show more

I ordered ordered and received this coat a little over a month ago. Since receiving it, I have been able to put it up to the ultimate test. A good old fashioned North Dakota winter. It's been through snow, rain, wind, and subzero temperatures. Through all of that, this coat surpassed my expectations. When the coat arrived, it was vacuum sealed into a rather small, flat package. Immediately I thought there was no way this was going to work for my situation. Even after opening the packaging, the coat seemed too thin and flimsy to be able to hold up to any type of winter weather. I contemplated sending it back, but knew we were in for some bad weather in the days to come. I am so glad I kept it! After a decent snow storm, I was out in -20 something temps, shoveling my driveway and sidewalks. After only a few minutes in, I was almost too hot. At least the parts of me that were covered by the coat. Everywhere else, that cold was piercing right through. It was an odd sensation, lol. So warmth is not an issue. During another storm, that brought freezing rain, I needed to be outside quite a bit. Each time I had to go out, the coat kept me dry and warm. The waterproofing claim is legit. I have been out in wind with 60mph wind gusts, in freezing temps. This coat stood up to that! I could honestly go on and on about the positives of this coat. Really. My only personal complaint is the waist tightening string. It, in my opinion, is way too long and gets in the way. So I removed mine. Otherwise, I absolutely love this coat, will recommend it, and would 100% order it again. ... show more
