$38 is a great deal for these wetsuit shorts. They are appropriately sized and you should not have to size up or down. They are a little snug, but snug in the way a wetsuit should be, if it is loose it is not doing you much good. Overall easy to get on and off. The stitching and seam work on this are well done. These neoprene wetsuit shorts will be great for travel and can be teamed with a top that opens in the front, a bonus for when a buddy's not available to help fasten a traditional zipper back one piece suit. Also they can be more easily packed compactly for travel. The material seems like good quality fabric with buoyancy and the seams are well sewn. I wear a US medium but using the size chart, I was on the size cusp between an xl and XXL large. I went with the larger size. The dive shorts pulled on fine and fit ok in the hips but the waist is a bit slack and lets water in and out a bit more than I'd like. Wearing a tighter neoprene top that compresses and covers the waist helps, but I wish I had ordered a size down. Other than that, I'm looking forward to using them often this year.

I normally wear an XL but went with a 3XL based on the sizing chart, and they fit perfectly. The material has great stretch and feels comfortable without restricting movement, which makes them easy to wear for swimming, paddleboarding, or kayaking. They provide noticeable warmth in the water and a bit of extra protection from the sun. The fabric feels durable, and the construction seems solid. There is a slight odor when first opening, but that’s normal with wetsuit material and it fades after airing out. Overall, these shorts are comfortable, flexible, and a good choice for extending water activities into cooler conditions.

These are quality neoprene with a length that hits just above the knee on a 5'6"/130lb frame (my legs are on the long side). I got XL based on the size chart and they are snug enough to make me confident they'd stay on in the ocean current, so a true to chart fit. My one quibble is that the stitching creates unflattering depression lines on my body, but these are utility shorts and I'm confident they'll be great for buoyancy and ocean play.

Waist: 26" Hip: 37" Height: 5' 7" Size ordered: small Good suit, a little snug in the upper thighs, but just right at the waist: snug enough to not fall down without any belly squish. I measured the thickness of the hem (double layer, so twice the thickness of the suit) at 4mm, so the suit is more like 2mm. This is the lightest weight I think anyone would ever use, so bear that in mind.

I usually wear a small, but ordered a large because of the waist measurement on the size chart. Boy, am I glad that I did. They fit perfectly. I can’t wait to wear these kayaking when the water temp is cool, and snorkeling. They are 90% lightweight Neoprene, and the seaming is articulated so they are comfortable. They are easy to pull on and look to be very well made and durable. They have a nice amount of stretch.

The GoldFin Women Wetsuit Shorts are well made with smooth, consistent stitching. I measured carefully and used the size guide, but the recommended size is too loose for me. A wetsuit product needs a close fit to be effective, but these fit me loosely, with gaps around the thigh openings and waist. We all have different bodies, so they may work for someone else.

The 2mm wetsuit shorts feels good quality. Based on their sizing chart, I ordered a L for a 27" waist. it has a snug fit, but doesn't feel overly tight or anything. The shorts sits above my knee cap, so I still have good mobility walking or kneeling. It feels warm for as 2mm wetsuit, so I look forward to try it in mild ocean weather.
