This is the shorty version wetsuit for warmer weather, and it has been working great for my granddaughter. She has already been swimming in the pool in March, and this helps keep her warm while still allowing good movement for swimming and playing. For sizing reference, she is 3.5 years old, about 40" tall and 34 lbs, and we ordered the 4T. The fit was good with a little room to grow, and the front zipper makes it much easier to get on and off. The neoprene material has a nice stretch to it, and the suit is comfortable without being too tight. It keeps her warm enough to extend swim time in cooler water, but since it’s a shorty version, it’s better suited for moderately cool water rather than very cold water. Overall, this is a great wetsuit for kids for swimming, snorkeling, or general water play when the water is a little cool but not freezing.

We live along Lake Michigan, and the water is typically too cold for me to be willing to go in. Wetsuits changed that for me, and I therefore wanted wetsuits for my kids. This was exactly what I was looking for. I bought this “shortie” for my son, and the long-sleeved version for my daughter. What I liked: -It fits him really well. It’s snug, as it should be; and he’s able to get it on and off by himself (every mom’s dream!). -It’s well-made. -The material stretches well. A couple of other observations: -My son is 8 1/2, so I bought him the size 10. I was surprised that it fit him so well. It makes me wonder if the sizes run a little small. -The zipper is in the front instead of in the back. That’s as-advertised, but it’s different than my wetsuit (which was designed for body-boarding). -It’s thin, but it’s as thin as advertised. My wetsuits are 3mm and 5mm, so this is naturally thinner. In all, I’m very pleased. Bring on summer!

Got this for my 5 year old son. This wetsuit fits perfectly and is right to size. Nice and bright so easy to see kid. Easy to get in and out. I wish chest part would be a bit tighter, has a bit of slack there and collects extra water. It's functional and do what it needs to do. My kid say it keeps him warm. Feels durable. Mine had a strong smell when arrive, but after good rinse was ready to go. Good value for the money.

I got this for my 10-year-old daughter and it fits very snug for her 79 pound frame. I ordered a size 10 and the color and styling is very cute and a good quality. I am very pleased with the construction and the thickness of the neoprene and it seems like it will keep her warm for when she is kayaking. I have ordered the long sleeve and pants wet suits before but this is my first time getting the shorts version and I think this will be perfect for this summer. I’m really pleased with it.

I’ve never bought a wetsuit to compare this to others, but this is an awesome little wetsuit for my son! It’s very thin and lightweight yet feels to be a good high quality material. The zipper is well done and glides smoothly. The wetsuit will definitely keep you warmer in chilly water. My son likes the pastel green color of it. Good quality swimsuit that seems like it will last quite a while. Great value in this item.

My niece wouldn’t take it off for a solid hour after I have it to her and it fits true to size to be sure. The stretch means it’s good for probably a 5 as well as a 4 which is awesome. As for functionality she said it was warm and the neoprene is quite soft to the touch. The zippers were sturdy and I imagine they’ll hold up well.
