This thing is big, bulky and ugly; it's the chunkiest watch I've ever worn. I've rated it four stars because the most important thing in a watch for me is the display. And this watch has a display that is close to perfect for me. It's large and very readable, with no extra gadgetry and trivial info cluttering up the screen. It shows me all the information I really need, just the time down to seconds, and the day and date. The info is arranged in a simple and logical manner. The display lights up completely and brightly in the dark. The controls were very easy to figure out without going through the instruction manual. If you just need a basic timepiece and don't mind a bulky thing strapped to your wrist, this watch has an excellent, very legible display. I've only used the watch a few months, so I can't comment on things like durability and water resistance. So far it's held up well to the daily knocks and bumps I've put it through; I'll update the review if any issues come up. But for the price you could probably buy several of them and just cycle through them as they wear out. ... show more

A good simple, cheap watch with a timer, alarm, and indiglo. I don't like having all my gadgets connected to wi-fi and my smartphone. I had to order this because brick&mortar stores no longer sell "dumb" watches.

1st post-This is a great inexpensive watch. I'm 67 and was having a hard time seeing my old Casio's time at night, the numbers are so small and the light kind of washed out the display making it hard to read the time. So the much bigger numbers and display along with the excellent back lighting on this new watch really make this a perfect watch for me. I don't need anything more than the features provided with this watch, excellent across the board for my needs, cool color too! (Teal-ish) CURRENT UPDATE - Sorry can't recommend this watch any longer. Just a couple of months and then it wouldn't keep the time or date, I changed to a new battery and it still wouldn't hold the settings to proper time and date. You get what you pay for here, not a good or reliable watch. JUNK! $17 garbage! ... show more

I like it. Nice size, it's waterproof. I work with saltwater aquarium fish and have my hands in seawater all day long and it hasn't ruined this watch yet. For the price, that's pretty stinkin impressive. My only problem is that I accidentally smacked it really hard into the steering wheel of my car while getting in quickly the other day and the ring over the face came off. Pretty bummed and worried it was going to jeopardize the functionality of the thing I almost got shopping for a new watch but figured I'd see how long this one would survive. No water in it yet! Just not quite as pretty. And having the plastic housing broken off will most likely result in my eventually chipping the glass but it hasn't happened yet! So far, I'm pretty pleased with it, especially for the price. I'll probably just buy it again when I end up killing this one. Update: it has been over a year and it is still working good as new. Hands submerged in saltwater almost every day, lots of swimming, hiking, camping and kayaking in my life and I never take it off and it is still working great. I think I'm going to order a couple more, maybe in different colors too, just to be ready when I accidentally smash this one. But as for now, it's great! ... show more
